ok, i always have been and always will be a die-hard gelphie shipper, but i honestly tried to open myself up to fiyeraba, i had no hate against it, i thought parts of it was ok, but after reading over 50 fiyeraba posts i can safely say im fully fucking anti-fiyeraba.
most of these ppl get the plot SO. FUCKING. WRONG. I CAN'T EVEN. WTF.
they obviously have never watched an interview in their life where the actors and directors explain the significance and meanings behind certain scenes. and all the gelphie hate basically boils down to just plain glinda slander. and guess what?? all of it is absolutely false or taken out of context. and then they turn fiyero into a saint and ignore all the morally wrong shit he did. none of these ppl understood ANY of the characters, not even the ones they ship together.
i will fully acknowledge that glinda was a selfish shitty person with BAD morals. but if they actually opened their eyes and watched five minutes of the movie they would see the intent behind her actions. but almost every post i went to comment on, the creator would explicitly say they're deleting every comment that defends glinda or gelphie.
and most of these ppl just try and blatantly ignore elphaba's morals and completely disregard even her friendship with glinda, to make her the perfect damsel in distress for fiyero to save. and one of the commenters tried to gaslight us into thinking that fiyero's eyes were not turned brown at the end of the movie. and most of them have just said they hate all gelphie shippers and that we're all crazy idiots that have read too much fanfiction and think its canon 😭🙏 and probably the worst part was when all of them were saying they're perfect saints and no fiyeraba shipper had ever ONCE come on to a gelphie post to spread hate and that gelphie shippers are the only ones that do that bc we're "biphobic" and trying to force our lesbian ship onto them.
done with trying, you guys had your chance, you could've had a multi shipper, you fucking failed, i was completely neutral on fiyeraba, but now GELPHIE FOR LIFE <333 yuriana is the leader of our nation and i stand with her for all fiyeraba hate.
