You know what? I’m proud of you. A lot of writers have trouble with saying no or that they’re not interested/able to write something. I know that sometimes you just can’t find the motivation to write or nothings really clicking but because they said request are open they feel obligated to write whatever they get if it’s no directly against their rules. Good on you and remember to take care of yourself ❤️

one of the things i really struggle with is just... finding the best way to express to you guys how much i actually do want to write vs. how much im really able to... so i think its nice to have a policy that reflects + answers to that without much extra explanation needed.

its hard tho, bc i also really am sympathetic to readers since i know how frustrating it can be to request something that never ends up being fulfilled... and i definitely want to avoid that at all costs, too (even though i often fail).

I always see pro gmo stuff on this website and it just baffles me?? Like maybe instead of relying on expensive technology to mess with the dna of food we should just distribute it equally to have food security? Also like gmo seeds are produced by large cooperations and when farmers buy those seeds they have to buy the specialised fertilisers and pesticides from them too so now you have farmers being wholly dependent on cooperations and what good is gonna come out of that

one time i tried to stop sleeping without her because i was “too old” for a stuffed animals, and over the next month or so, my hands started going numb. it was slowly but they did an MRI to try and see what was going on and the doctor asked if i had recently made any changes to how i slept. i told him i stopped sleeping with my stuffed animal and he told me to start again and i did. my hands immediately stopped getting worse and got better within a week. STUFFED ANIMALS ARE A MEDICAL THING APPARENTLY.

no but seriously dean reading is so important to me because as a kid i was terrible at lots of things in school and reading is the only thing i knew for sure that i was extremely good at and could be proud about like by the time i got to second grade i was allowed to read books from the bookshelves only fourth graders and up could read because no one else could read chapter books and i got obsessed with series like choose your own adventure and a series of unfortunate events and it just made me feel really happy and smart i don't know
