Our parking lot gets gross, especially after it rains. The oil that drips from cars mixes with the water and dirt to create a swirling mess.
But even though this looks gross, I can’t help but admire its messy beauty and the contrast between the two photos. One gold. One silver. Both lovely.

Just getting into Never Mind by Edward St. Aubyn. Love the (cruel) lucid observations, and that the characters' voices are so well defined.
