I know I just barely posted about oily parking lot leaves, but I thought I’d throw out one more post. This is one of my favorite photos. The sunset was in its final stages when everything looked golden, and instead of looking up and admiring the clouds, I ended up looking at my feet and seeing these beautiful leaves.

Our parking lot gets gross, especially after it rains. The oil that drips from cars mixes with the water and dirt to create a swirling mess. 

But even though this looks gross, I can’t help but admire its messy beauty and the contrast between the two photos. One gold. One silver. Both lovely.
