like to take walks with my daughter throughout our neighborhood. Although I miss some days if the weather is poor, I try to make an effort to go around our area and point out any flowers or bugs or interesting bits of nature I find along the way.

And I think the habit has rubbed off on my daughter.

When I went for a walk the other day, my daughter stopped me at almost every bush and flower along the way. Better still, she pointed out the bees that were flocking to a particular bush that I wouldn’t have given much attention. The bush itself didn’t seem particularly attractive at a glance, but up close, I found it had teeny tiny flowers.

And the bees were working very hard at gathering as much as they could from every little flower there. It was a great opportunity to take a few more pictures of my bee friends.

So I realized that I hardly ever post to my Tumblr anymore, and I decided to try and change that - at least for a little while. I want to get back in the habit, so I’m sharing some of my photos that I share on Instagram and on my website Jennibeemine.com.

Hey there! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted on Tumblr. I’ve just had a lot of stuff going on lately and I’ve been keeping busy on my Instagram accounts @jennibeemine and @jennibeedoodles.

Anyways, these are some ideas I have in the works for some custom cards. I did the watercolors traditionally and then used my iPad to improve the quality of the scans and to add text. These cards aren’t final yet - I’m not completely happy with the text and the quotes, but you get the idea.
