My go to order is Three (3) Chocolate glazed donuts and a Medium Original iced Lemonade :D! 

(Sometimes if I’m stopping by for breakfast and I need something more idk substantial?  I’ll get two sausage biscuits as well but sometimes the eggs are weird on it so I don’t always trust it lmao)

Also I’m assuming “assorted donut holes” is just a simple way to explain what a mixed box of Timbits is yeah?

Canadians and Americans: Do you celebrate Thanksgiving? Does your family have any special Thanksgiving traditions? any Jewish Thanksgiving traditions?

Yeeeee TimBits! I called them “assorted donut holes” in my ask so people who have no clue what those are wouldn’t get confused XD

Have you ever had beaver tails as well? They’re a dessert that’s Canadian-specific as to where it’s made, and it’s literally donut dough that’s shaped and decorated to look like a beaver’s tail! Definitely my all-time favorite Canadian dessert other than the maple syrup candies because those are the heccin’ bomb.

I haven’t had them in a WHILE but I like the Oreo/cookies and cream one??? I also like the Pountine they sell lmao

I actually don’t like Maple syrup or the candies it’s just not for me ;w; (I wish it was though because Maple stuff always looks SO FUCKING GOOD MAN)

Ah well most people assume I’m American, especially on tumblr. dat cultural hegemony. I don’t really have a discernable accent and I’m pretty white; so I don’t usually get other things :)

Only quite far back, or married in. One of my distant cousins lives in Japan with his wife who is Japanese. My Mummu I believe was born in Finland but she’s passed on, and she came over quite young.

YES and it’s so damn great. I love driving up to the north-er part of Ontario to go to my cottage. The Canadian shield is a gorgeous landscape.

It’s soppy, but one of my favourite lakes is the one at our family cabin/camp. Here’s a picture of it:

16. which stereotype about your country you hate the most and which one you somewhat agree with?

Hate is a strong word, but the idea that all Canadians are fundamentally decent people and there is no racism in Canada is a big :///// . Our racism may be less overt than the US but it is still virulent, systematic, insidious, and very, very ugly. 

Favorite that is somewhat true is that...hmm. We like Tim Horton’s? Lol. I also do think our colonial history is dull comparatively and that ends up being a very good thing for us. 

27. favourite national celebrity?

Gosh, tough one – I don’t tend to take an interest in the public/private lives of celebrities insofar as I like what they make? I’m going to tentatively say Neil Young because Harvest Moon is a boon and a comfort to me, but just know I have not a damn clue about his personal life, so if he’s a big jerk this is not an endorsement of him personally. 

I’m also charmed by Stompin’ Tom Connors, he makes me laugh.
