Do Jews celebrate Valentineās Day and Halloween? These holidays have Christian roots. If celebrating the fun secular parts of Halloween and Valentineās Day isnāt frowned upon, why is it so bad to celebrate the fun secular parts of Christmas or Easter?
@ converts who converted from christanity: was it difficult to get rid of the beliefs you were conditioned with growing up, or was it easy to just drop it all?
I canāt be the only one annoyed with the āask your rabbiā responses to some of the questions on here. Can we assume that yes, we all know to ask a rabbi for the most weighted input on a question. But the reason people post here is to get perspective from the community and, while responding with āask your rabbiā is true and valid, itās redundant and not helpful. Am I alone in feeling this way?
