Imagine if all the current shenanigans causes Cartoon Network Canada to change its name back to Teletoon.
That would honestly be super funny and based. It has already happened in other ways.
Back in 2021, EB Games stores here were rebranded to GameStop after years of being known as that. But then this year, cause their CEO is a conspiracy brainrotted clown ass Trump supporter (who also is a Canadian apparently but fuck that traitor tbh), they sold off the Canadian division.
It was bought by a Canadian businessman and has since been rebranded back to EB Games with emphasis on the Canadian maple leaf and returning to its more Canadian origins rather than the American name. Plus, being sold off, it's free GameStop and its insanity! Already has begun as seen here in a photo I took in downtown Toronto at their store there.
So, quite frankly, given Canada is all Fuck America now, I'm all for Canadian names the Americans have stolen from us to return.
I mean, Hudson's Bay for example, which was sold to Americans in 2008 and then ruined by them and bankrupted, was bought back in terms of its trademark by Canadian Tire which was a huge positive. We got our oldest company back from the US...even if it was in a body bag.
Word of advice to any Canadian company...NEVER sell out to the Americans unless going bankrupt is your plan! To quote the king of hating America; Jeremy Clarkson...
