This is the core of UNESCO’s Niagara Escarpment World Biosphere Reserve. . Flowerpot Island is located just northeast of historic Tobermory at the northern tip of The Upper Bruce Peninsula, Ontario. The rock formations made 4 million years ago of Dolomite rock appear to resemble flower pots 🤷♀️, hence the name. . This was my perfect spot to soak up the warm summer sun ☀️and listen to the gentle crashing of the beautiful turquoise waves 💦 of the Georgian Bay! .
