"Don't go in there, you'll become one; f-f-freaky creatures, monster party!"
The poor guy is thoroughly spooked, stammering so much that it's hard to tell what he's saying.

They are dismissed a short time after the prisoners escape, silent as their Diamonds send them away, presumably to spare their poor fragile Pearls the sight of such a vicious argument. The foyer outside the courtroom is quiet, as if it too is afraid of the thunderous voices that lay blame upon each other behind closed doors. Hesitant as she often is to speak when not spoken to, Blue turns her eyes on the Pearl who she spends many a day next to.
“It can’t be true, can it? It wasn’t one of the Diamonds...”

“Guess who just got back from the Earth mission?”

Yellow Diamond’s Pearl? On Earth? Peering at her from behind a wall, Steven noted that she seemed a little.. out of sorts. Maybe she was lost? He couldn’t see Yellow Diamond anywhere --- so.. maybe it was safe to talk to her? She wasn’t as intimidating as the Diamonds were, that was for sure.
Stepping out from his hiding spot, Steven approached her, offering a friendly smile.
“Uh.. hey! Are you okay...?”

“ y-you ?! “ she pauses with a visible tremble. “ what are you doing here ?! “

yellow diamond’s pearl? here? lapis didn’t really know how to deal with this -- she was beginning to back away, but there was the paranoia that she’d been spotted and the other gems on earth would be put in danger pressing at the back of her mind. so she clenched her teeth and used a nearby pond to grab onto the other gem and pull her over, wrapping one arm around her waist and using the opposite hand to cover her mouth.
“don’t struggle, don’t make a sound, and i won’t hurt you.”

Goddard simply stares in reply, quietly analyzing the reaction she received. The woman sounded suspiciously upset, but the machine could simply attribute it to them being strangers. She could leave, she could step forward with little regard for the warning she was given, but she ultimately decides to bargain.
"If you invite me in, I will not snoop, as I would be a guest and I would respect your property for your hospitality towards me." And because it was the right thing to do, but Goddard had to focus on the bigger issues here. "We are strangers now, but what if we became acquainted? You could ask me questions about myself in return and I would answer honestly."
Well, she's not necessarily sure about winning her heart romantically, but how about winning a friend?
Jennie presents her with an origami magnolia flower, inside of which is written "hello" in dainty cursive.
"That's pretty clever! Made it yourself, I take it? Hello to you as well."
