Edward Kennedy and Joan Bennett were married on November 29, 1958, in Bronxville, New York. The small family wedding was held just a few weeks after Ted's older brother U.S. Senator John F. Kennedy won his landslide re-election for his United States Senate seat representing Massachusetts in 1958.
September 21, 1964 - “Two beauties, a blonde and a brunette, had a family reunion here today as Mrs. Joan Kennedy, wife of Senator Edward (Ted) Kennedy of Massachusetts, is greeted by her sister, Mrs. Candace Bennett McMurray” and her husband Robert McMurrey (not sure?).
