Behold! My Ruffie! I uh. I couldn't be bothered with a background just take my canvas. Majority of this was drawn while watching The Great British Bakeoff, fitting for Ruin. A singular episode got me through almost all of the drawing which is impressive ngl. Anyways.

This Ruffie, by some weird magic mitosis, spawned in with a mouth. They use it to bite people (with a couple exceptions). Xey can also copy the sounds / words of other people, mainly using this for mischief. Charlie found it and decided to name him "Candie". She sticks near Charlie a lot, just waddling behind her like a baby duck. Of course, it also follows Ruin around as well.

Local monster of a man scares a young girl

Calvin Candie enjoyed a great many aspects of his wealthy life. Gracing the garden slaves with his presence that afternoon while he sipped on some cool fresh lemonade in the baking heat, striding along the small paved garden path in no particular direction and looking out over his endless fields of cotton and slaves as far as the eye could see like a God looking over his creation, enjoying the absolute fear, hatred and terror he inspired for all of those who had the misfortune of crossing onto the Candyland plantation.

Indulging in a small puff on his pipe as he smiled with rotten teeth out into the fields, seeing as the women apparently worked all the harder under his gaze and thinking of Cora's passing phrase of warnings to the House Staff still in 'training' in their enforced servitude to the family. 'Stay on his blind side', and he relished in the sheer dread and unease he caused his workers who had of course seen him kill slaves in the most horrendous of ways for even the slightest infringement of his expectations.

There was however one face that didn't seem to belong, a young girl, white in a pretty dress on the long entrance road to his vast estate. He frowned, puffed a few more times on his pipe and wondered what some strange little girl was doing on his plantation. Suspicious but not daring to jeopardise the thin mask of a gentleman, Calvin thrust his pipe and lemonade glass into the hands of a slave to hold as if he were a shelf. "Stay righ' there now Ol' Joe," he instructed the man with a pointed patronising finger.

Then Calvin removed his hat and made himself much more visible to the strange girl on his land, striding towards her as if he were eager to greet her, only of course it was not at all the greeting she might have been expecting and most certainly not the right man to give it.
