She's even got the nightbloods holding candles

International Scented Candle Day & National Author’s Day

Person A is a hobbyist candlemaker and is always creating new scented candle blends for their friends and family, including Person B, an aspiring writer. Person B notices that one of the ‘mystery scent’ candles that Person A made them has been really boosting their creativity, and asks Person A what they used in it. Person A seems unwilling to reveal their trade secret, so Person B just asks they make that same blend for them again.

Heres a new snas on the scene named Petal! He was made because @insanelyadd had the great idea to make skeles based on candles,,,, and now I've fallen into a pit full of candles and im making lore for them

Petal is based off of their favorite candle pink sand because hell yeah gimme a pastel sans plz

I think ima call this au Candletale?

Basically all the characters are based on candles and they kinda look over and have powers that correspond with the season or vibe of the candle they're based off of uwu! So like Petal kinda looks over things that correspond with spring and the ocean! He's just a shy soft boy with a green thumb.

I'm gonna me working on this au's papyrus design tonight so hopefully I can get it to a place where I like it!

i made an au for twdg where everyone has a spirit thing that takes the form of a candle and hovers around them n shows their mood, health, and life force.

the flame represents both their life force and emotional/mental health, the light it gives off represents the intensity of their emotions, and the size, height, and the speed the wax is dripping can represent both physical and emotional health.

someones candle could be less than an inch tall but as long as the flame is still lit, the person won't die but for the candle to be that short they'd have to be either hurt badly or in a bad place emotionally.

The candles also give of auras of the person's personality, or the emotion they're feeling. with clem, you would get the aura of a leader but also a caring mother with sometimes a small hint of uncertainty. violet, youd feel mainly stubbornness and defiance but when you get close to her it eases to a caring and kinda playful vibe. AJ, youd feel mostly caution, but when he's comfortable it's like childhood wonder and curiosity. ruby would give off a soft and caring aura but also slight annoyance but as soon as anyone she cares about is threatened, it's immediately like protective mama bear vibes.

ill post more about it after i draw some stuff for it

Hello Anon 👋 Thank you! No immediate plans but that could change. Maybe in the next month I'll have a good addition to the series. I don't plan to pick up the story where it left off. I have 3 other wips (foda-se😅) and just writing where my head wants to go at the moment.
