Joseph is a night fury not because he is special but simply because of the fact they are known for being precise and fast and Bess is a nadder because they are very loyal, fast, and smart but in the pointy sense instead of the cat sense like wilford gives off.

OI, WARNING FOR SEXUAL CONTENT, IF YOU’RE A MINOR, PISS OFF.

Maybe it’s just me but I do not think we should be having fetish/gooner mods in games like tf2, overwatch, or marvel rivals for the simple fact that it is a mass online multiplayer game where there is a non zero chance you could be exposing someone who is in fact under the age of consent to those mods.

“But their client side!” There is no reason in hell why you need a mod with captain Americawhere his chest is edited to make it look like he has gotten horribly botched breast implants so that he looks like that art that RCDarts makes, you will live, I promise. If you need a mod that makes you horny to play a game like this then I don’t think you need to be playing this game, or, at the very least you should be playing what you actually want to be playing (goonerslop on itch.io or anything that is not a live service game.)

“But but, it’s an adult game!” Both overwatch and marvel rivals are rated 13+. Tf2 is a bit different since you have to be 16 to make an account technically but I still have known of people who made one at 13 and got around that. By simply playing MR or OW (idk if the latter allows mods, using it as an example) with gooner mods or fetish mods installed there is a non zero chance that you could expose minors to these mods. While I do think it is a good thing for them to be client side, why the hell are you risking getting literally BANNED over modded, shitty looking gooner skins.

In all honesty I think it’s your own fault if you get banned for using them. Why do you NEED those skins to play a team shooter?? Obviously the correct answer is that you DO NOT need them.

Also this is not me being a puritan. If you wanna play with gooner slop mods, go play a singleplayer game. The reason why mods are not supported and/or have to be client side in a lot of these games is because of losers like you where the only thing stopping literal 13 year olds from seeing your fucking porn mods, is the fact that they are client side. At one point mods in games like this WERE NOT client side, and the only reason they are not anymore is because you people cannot be normal for more than ten minutes or you explode all over everyone and give them every sexually transmitted disease known to man.

Maybe it is just me being too asexual for this, but it does feel inherently rather disgusting and pedophilic to be knowingly using a mod that edits your character model in a hero shooter to appear and show sexual nudity or fetish content in some manner, and being completely fine with it while there may be an unknowing child (or someone who in general does not want to be subjected to seeing pornographic content in a game that is literally rated 13+, like myself and plenty of others, ESPECIALLY without consent.) in the lobby with you for the simple fact that it is “client side and therefore hidden from everyone else around me.”

like I get these games already have inherently sexualized skins but there is a difference to wearing one of those skins in your character, to “let’s make this random character completely naked with visible genitalia” or “I’m going to make a fat fetish mod for this one character” like I have seen SEVERAL TIMES on the nexus modding pages.

More Snowpiercer Ragnarok/Fimbulwinter parallels + character thingies I think about often

Joseph Wilford/Jörmangandr: The world serpent is depicted as a large serpent, constantly eating its own tail until the end of the world/ragnarok, after which, it is destined to fight Thor, and bring about the end of times as its body crushes midgard beneath its bulk as it and Thor crumple and die from exhaustion.

Mind you, while we did not get that last season, I would have Pit Mister Wilford/Wilford SR as Thor. Joseph Is the Serpent, constantly stuck in a cycle of abuse and violence and sometimes, moments of calm, forever desperate to either break the bonds, get back to his own sense of normalcy until he inevitably dies, but Thor, his father, striking down his own son and taking them both with them at the end of days.

And his father is not a hero for this, either. Even if Joseph is dead, even if he is a horrible person, it is only obvious that he is an extension of a cycle of abuse tag his father laid upon him, and as much as he grew up into a monster, no one is born evil. It must have been so confusing for a child to grow up having the violence that he would inevitably force upon others as a way to quiet the noise of his mind.:

The show runners… idk if they would have done this, but I would have loved to have furthered this idea that Wilford SR is the ONLY person in the world that Joseph is afraid of. He is afraid of him and he hates him all in the same breath.

After all the cycle of abuse is just a serpent mindlessly chewing its own tail, only in how to take and take and take.

Another note I have on Wilford’s mentality is that he likely has participated in self harm himself. He simply found that he gets the same kind of sadistic satisfaction and comfort towards his own pain, rage, and suffering, being quieted when he sees others harming themselves. He is an incredibly angry man made and forged by yet another incredibly angry, cruel man under the idea that his harsh cruelty will make people respect him in the way his father never did.

Maybe it’s simple fan speculation but I know enough of how incredibly poor mental health and poor upbringings can create monsters. At the end of the day, what makes them so sickening to think of is because there was a chance that this person could have been a perfectly healthy individual, but they never got that chance because they were treated as a beast from the time they were born, and that is exactly what makes them more human and believable. (This is also a thing that happens to this day with autistic people. They are treated as if they are the devil.)

None of this makes what he did alright in the slightest. But it gives him a motive.

Also I’d like to point out the reason that Joseph’s… “violent” tendencies went away after getting got by Roche with the suspension drug to the heart, is more than likely has a form of antipsychotic effect to it as a side effect, which is why people who DO NOT NEED to take antipsychotic medications start acting like they would need them when they are taken off of it.
