not 100% on this but i think someone (or more people) started to target people who struggle with depression/selfharm/etc and sent them really nasty anon msgs, some people relapsed, two in coma from attempts (?)

Some shithead anons were targeting members of SPN fandom, focusing on people with depression, and/or previous history of self harm. Right now some are ok, but there’s some MIA and supposed reports of at least two in hospital critical

A group of anons are/were sending hate to people mainly with depression or anxiety problem and so many people hurt themselves. We lost someone last night I think, it was rumored. Many people are in critical condition because of them.

Personally I think the idea that I should keep “my gay shit” away from people bc they are uncomfortable with it is fuckin stupid like we’re the problem?? Mention the word destiel and ?? I get explicit shit but just mention a legit thing on the show?

I do think, ideally, fans should absolutely be able to ask questions about their ship. Yeah, not explicit stuff maybe, but if a fan wants to ask a question about their ship, especially in relation to what's happening on the show, I think they should be allowed without half the fandom painting them as a vile, evil shipper with an agenda. Problem is, it just creates a lot of wank and sometimes fans get an answer they don't like which creates even more wank and I just don't know if it's worth it with this cast. :\ The idea that we need to "protect" Jared and Jensen by keeping slash shipping stuff away from them is dumb as fuck though. I mean, they don't have to like the ship, but it shouldn't make them uncomfortable just hearing about it. We are absolutely not the problem, and they're grown-ass men who should be able to handle simple questions like that. Like I said, I wish things were different. But with this super toxic fandom and the way TPTB treat us, I don't know. I just wish I could ship my ship openly and talk about it without being vilified for it.

oh I agree, I hate that destiel shippers get painted with this dirty secret brush yet wincest is all good… I just think all shipping should kinna be kept with in the fans… actors and stars just dont get it and tend to be offensive towards it

That pisses me off more than anything. But yeah, with the exception of Misha, who is pretty good with those questions, the rest of the cast and TPTB don't handle it at all well. I don't really like the "keep the slash to the fans" attitude because actors should be able to handle it. But with this cast in particular, they really don't, and so I don't know if all the wank is worth it. :\ I really hate seeing shipping-related wank stirred up by something a cast or crew member says. I wish we could talk about our ships, as I've said above, but I really don't want to deal with wank either. TPTB won't change their attitude. I don't know, I'm not wording myself well. My feelings on this are kind of all over the place.

But no, apparently it was 10x03 and Dean has been gone from the bunker and come back, and in that time Sam did something bad (and hurt his arm, cause it was in a sling) to try and get him back. Dean's wearing a different shirt and his hair is longer, so I guess he's been gone a while. That's the one Jensen directed and that's why he introduced the clip.

the adam thing was just a rumor based on an article that said they had no plans for such, but the title is the only thing people bother reading (as per usual of this site, it seems), and didnt notice that the article itself basically said no.

Ahhh I see. I haven't been very actively keeping up with season 10 spoilers/rumors as it is anyway so I thought I'd just missed something. Thanks for the clarification! :D
