A disgruntled noise, and Doppo leaned away slightly from the other man, hoping to escape his grip. Such gestures were far too friendly. And not to mention the fact that Ramuda was bright with his hair and clothes and personality, and all that, too, annoyed Doppo to some extent. Apparently being bright and annoying was preferable to being ‘ b-o-r-i-n-g ’ ( which Doppo was already, so what did it even matter? ) and having ‘ f-u-n ’ ( which Doppo rarely had these days ) was i-m-p-o– important.
Vacation? Without thinking, he bit his already chewed down nail from the potential stress of coming back from a theoretical vacation, already fully aware of how his situation would worsen once he returned. “ If I go on vacation, my coworkers and boss will end up piling any work they don’t want to do on my desk like they already do, then my boss will yell at me for being behind on work and cut my pay again and blame me for everyone being behind. And the apartment… We’ll have trouble paying the rent because of me… It’ll all be my fault… Again… My fault… As always… ”
