Luigi Fankid Headcanons: Cannellini

Just to preface: I’m using she/they for our bean princess as part of my Beanbean Kingdom lore (that being how lax beans are with gender, lol), just to clear up any confusion. I’ll be hopping from she in one bullet point and they in the next.

Cannellini is only a year old, being the first one born from Peasley and Daisy's pregnancies (bean genetics are amazing, lol). Her full name is Cannellini, but her parents usually call her "Canelli."

Canelli's a pretty mellow little thing. Unlike Dante, they’re usually happy just napping with one of their parents. They're rarely ever too fussy; most of the time, they're relatively calm and happy with basically anything. Even when they do get upset, they never actually scream like their brother. Most of the time, they just whine really loud when something's bothering them too much for their liking. Guess you could say they're more "go with the flow," lol.

While relatively mellow, Canelli isn't shy from going on her own adventures from time to time. Seriously, take your eyes off her for one second, and she's crawlin' right out the door... no, literally. As you can imagine, everyone usually keep a good eye on her to ensure she doesn't escape, lol. (Though, secretly, Daisy thinks this is absolutely hilarious)

Canelli's had a stuffed pink bunny ever since they were born. This was a gift from Queen Bean as a new member to the royal family, and they love it very much... usually as a teething toy, though.

Like Peasley, Canelli seems to have inherited his sweet-tooth, primarily because still uses the sun to produce her own food as of right now (photosynthesis is a common thing for baby beans until their sprout morphs into their hair by age 5). Thankfully, this is normal for pretty much every bean

One of Canelli's absolute favorite things to is spend time outside with their family. They absolutely love flowers and insects (in a normal way, not a food way) and after they're done playing in the garden, they're more than comfortable falling asleep among the flowers in the sun... basically heaven!

Canelli is extremely close with her older sister. From what little words she can say, whenever Lily comes around, Canelli perks right up, wriggles in whoever's arms she's in, and starts squealing happily, "Shishi! Shishi!" (aka: sissy). Lily also reciprocates this! She loves playing dress-up and spending every waking minute with her little sister. These two are basically as close as twins, in a sense. As for her brother... she doesn't have much consideration of him yet since he's more of a baby still.

Canelli is especially close to Peasley (both being beans, ofc). Peasley normally acts all debonair and confident out in public... but that facade is quickly diminished when he lays eyes on his little bean. He's still enamored with the fact that he had them, so every time he's holding them, he's a giggly, baby-talking mess, and it's the cutest thing to Luigi and Daisy... Canelli also appears to find this amusing, lol.

Luigi and Canelli are also besties, as you can probably imagine. Luigi loves cuddling up with her and giving her regular feedings (aka, opening a window or going outside so the glorious sun can provide her food), mainly because it allows him to play with her more. Apparently from doing this, Canelli's confused him as a fellow bean, too... and thinks his mustache is his sprout. Leads to a fairly painful experience when she tries to drag his "sprout" into the sun... 😅

And finally... Daisy! Daisy is fairly gentle with Canelli, but she lives for the chaos they provide. As they usually do with Dante, this consists of adventures that usually end in explosions (sometimes Dante's along for the ride, too, lol). When they're not doing that, Daisy enjoys spending time in the garden with the little bean and making flower crowns for them. In her words, these crowns make them look even more cute than they already are (which... she's not wrong). Guess Daisy's a fashionista now, apparently!
