I like to associate Magnolia with the flower of the same name

(the photo is not mine, this is just an example of these wonderful flowers)

Yesss! I actually have a story about the history of her name (which I don’t think I’ve published anywhere yet, even though I’ve drawn a scene to go with it. oops.). The gist of it is that the cemetery of Solvito is shaded by magnolia trees, which Battisto and Rosita used to hang out under as kids.

Magnolias are also one of my own favorites flowers. They’re everywhere here in SC and they smell sooo nice. We mostly have Southern Magnolias, which have these big ol flowers:

I actually have several more serious confession-centered short stories that I need to clean up and post over on my Toyhouse library. Keep your eyes peeled over there if you want to see this poor hyena suffer more. <3

I really want to draw! But I'm sitting here studying and I can't do it! And at the same time, it seems like I've forgotten how to draw... There are too many cool artists around and I'm clearly not up to par their level It feels strange, but it's not a problem, my main focus is still studying, and I'll have to hand in my coursework soon.

I also can't figure out if I like James's new look! It's really annoying.

I read the story of Batisto and I want to cry from such injustice in his life with his beloved Your characters are very well written, you could even make an animated film based on their plot. Hi! That's a great question, thanks for your interest.

Yes, this is indeed my old account. It's really nice that I can be found under the username Kerel_glai. That's the pseudonym where it all started.

Why did I stop posting there?

At that time, I was facing a number of difficulties that left me no time for drawing. And now, my vision of my own creativity has changed.

I'm working on creating something more permanent and concrete than what I had before. Running a new blog is a challenge to myself. And the progress I make here makes me genuinely happy.

Right now, my goal is to create my characters in a way that makes them unique and recognizable, but my past work didn't fit into this new vision.

So, I saw no point in continuing to run that page. And here... well, even if it's not perfect yet, at least I'm trying. And I really hope that one day I'll be able to achieve my goals.
