Luke steps  half  out  of  the  vehicle  then,  his  height  stretching  almost  spider -  like  as  he  points  a  gloved  finger  to  Marmalade.  “  keep  him  safe,  Marmie. ”

            “ why don’t you throw yourself a bone and maybe go find another survivor to hang out with ? “ he asks, a smirk lifting at his lips at his own joke. it’s silly, and he’s aware of it. but still. he couldn’t not say it.

Which one of The Dredge’s hands does it use to play fetch? Marmie is very confused :(

It does not know what this “fetch” is....and it does not know what it is looking at either. Too much fur to be its normal prey.

A few hands emerge from the dark, grasping and warbling in twisted form of a choir. It does not intend to hurt, something rare for it recently, but it does not know how to act in this situation.

When I got there, they looked pretty fuckin’ scared of her.” Getting the big dog back for Shaw was easier than she thought it’d be-- they were willing to part with the dog after Vera offered them a good amount of eddies and tried her best hand at non-violent convincing. She doesn’t want to make enemies of the Maelstrom, but of course she wants to help Shaw. She made sure they won’t try to fuck with Marmalade ever again, though. 

“You don’t have to pay me for this, okay? Really. Just glad to uh, see man and dog reunited.” She looks down at the massive dog with a small smile, patting the top of her head affectionately. // @caniid​

━━━   in the forest one can find many lost souls meandering through Her realm in servitude or damnation. the faces at the campfire are always too far off, never in full focus or free of foggy distortion. they cannot wander there, those slaying deviants in Her trials. even if one tries, they will become lost in the fog as soon as the light touches them.

which is why the red pyramid thing finds himself so bewildered to catch a dog dashing through the brush & approaching the edge of the campsite. in silent warning, the executioner blocks the way ahead with the blade of the great knife - keeping it at bay.

massive helm scans the dense forest, looking for any answer to this creature. without warning, it begins fervently jumping to latch onto the sharp point of the helm’s front. red pyramid shakes it off multiple times with no LUCK in deterring it. already loose grip on the great knife fails altogether, the weapon falling as he reaches for the dog.

Bloody noses were the fucking worst.

"What if this hurts you? I know you don't like Johnny and he's showing up for longer times more often now. You hate that and I hate the idea of putting you through that. I won't let my loved ones suffer just so I have even a single percent more of a chance to live. It's not fair and I'm not making you do that."
