Veylik’s Roleplay chronology
This roleplay chronology is a compiled, timestamped record of Veylik Cadron’s canon events across the Paranormalis RP timeline. Veylik is a former imperial research co-lead in the study of eldritch artifacts who fled the Empire after a job incident fractured his mind and permanently altered his being. He originally escaped to New Troll City and tried to survive by running a small private investigations office, self-medicating with alcohol, cigarettes, and pills while taking mostly civil and domestic cases; however, despite his attempts to stay small and uninvolved, that work repeatedly pulls him into corporate affairs, violent anomalies, curses, and increasingly intimate, high-stakes situations, all of which are chronicled below.
12/3/2025 12:41 PM — “A Sordid Affair” marks Veylik Cadron’s first canonical appearance in Paranormalis (RP-wise), set prior to any major Paranormalis events involving the detective. While working a case, Veylik encounters resistance from Cioppe Saefrt, a hired muscle/hitwoman contracted to kill his client after said client tasked Veylik with obtaining evidence of their matesprit having an affair. After confronting Cioppe, the two reach a mutually beneficial deal and go out for drinks. The night turns violent however when they are pulled into a bar fight, culminating in Cioppe shooting Veylik accidentally, after which he ends up in her care. In his drunken delirium, Veylik strips naked and falls asleep on Cioppe’s bed. Once both of their jobs are concluded, they part ways as newfound acquaintances.
11/30/2025 12:10 PM — Veylik first joins the public board.
12/3/2025 2:26 PM — “Rice!” functions as Veylik’s first event in the “present” as far as the timeline is concerned. He meets members of the ANNB news crew, including Canios and Kimber Rielly, as well as Postmate and official messenger for the Insolitus Corporation, Fancee Loving. He also finally connects in person with independent pornstar/skater Beefit Hugely, who he previously helped by retrieving her car but had not physically met until now, and he also lastly meets hired knight Cyclea Percore. During the gathering, he eats plenty of rice, gives Canios a puzzle book, and, as promised on the public board, is allowed to nap at Canios’s desk; after doing so, he jumps out of the window. Cioppe was also there.
12/5/2025 1:23 PM — In “Open 24 Hours,” Veylik meets Bibi again at a Waffle Hive with the intent of cashing in his reward for retrieving her car. Tired and fresh off an unrelated case they talk and eat together, Veylik using Bibi to ensure the meal of no poisoning by having her taste it first. Soon after though Veylik has to leave, and the hangout ends without major escalation beyond the brief reconnection.
12/5/2025 9:34 PM — “True Sight” Part 1 begins a multi-part roleplay centered on the romantic endeavours of Veylik and top Insolitus monster hunter Daimon Aougur. Prior to their meeting, Veylik has been tracking a case involving a missing lusus; after uncovering disturbing evidence, he takes the matter to the public board for aid. The nature of what he finds alerts Insolitus, and Daimon is deployed to investigate. Their paths cross as the investigation reaches its head, and together, along with Samara Wraith, Daimon’s ghost partner, they fight an eldritch creature Veylik dubs the Amalgam. Both are gravely injured and evacuated by helicopter, during which Veylik meets Anyaru Servus, CEO of Insolitus, for the first time. Later, after Veylik wakes from passing out during the helicopter ride, he awakes and attempts to escape Insolitus HQ, but is stopped by Annie and told to stay and rest due to his injuries; Veylik accepts for now after she tells him about Daimon’s condition.
Determined to ensure Daimon is alright, he inadvertently encounters the hunter in a state of undress. After a failed attempt to leave the two talk, agree to stay in touch, tell stories, share their first kiss, and exchange contact information, marking the beginning of their soon-to-be matespritship. Afterward, Veylik returns to his accommodations, where he is personally delivered his gauntlet by Annie, refusing her pitch to sign him onto Insolitus.
12/6/2025 2:14 AM — In “V. Cadron, Private Investigations Office part 1,” Veylik meets Brandy Porter of ANNB. Brandy hands him a check out of sympathy for a job he was not paid for. The encounter is otherwise quiet, with little action beyond the gesture, his initial refusal and the confirmation of his ongoing financial and professional strain.
12/9/2025 10:12 PM — “Restless Cargo” begins with Veylik feeling terrible about the true extent of Daimon’s injuries after the Amalgam fight and blaming himself. On a saddened drunken bender, he ends up on a dock after receiving a false report of a case, where he coincidentally meets Fancee Loving, Beefit Hugely, and Caurra Cyprin, who are in the midst of planning a quest to return the body of Bibi’s ancestor, “TOLLINGBELL,” to her grave after it has been desecrated and made host to a root mimic. Veylik speaks with the boat’s captain and comes away with sagely insight before helping defeat the creature. Much later, attempting not to disturb the other three women’s downtime together, he leaves to visit a local village, only to interrupt a ceremony/trial which he claims victory in, be mistaken for the groom because of it, get married, get found out to not be said groom, and have to fight his way out before returning to the group with an arrow in his shoulder and a large bottle of ancient mountain sake.
1/30/2026 9:12 PM — In “V. Cadron, Private Investigations Office part 2,” Annie mysteriously appears after hours inside Veylik’s tightly locked office while in the neighborhood; it is clear she has done this before, and Veylik is not happy about it. She brings alcohol as a gift, and after noticing his meager dinner, she offers him food. She also offers him once again a job at Insolitus. It is admittedly a near-flawless package of purpose, steady meals, Money, companionship, and stability, the picture perfect, “good life,” but still he refuses. They speak briefly about his motivations as a detective, and whether he is wasting his talents doing what he does, after which Annie updates him on Daimon’s bettering condition and departs.
12/14/2025 9:39 PM — In “A Man in Waiting,” Veylik receives a text from Daimon describing a visit from a terrifying, mysterious figure called the Huntsman, who claims he has been looking for Veylik. Afraid, Daimon gives the Huntsman Veylik’s address, apologizing for it but Veylik doesn’t mind so long as Daimon is safe. Soon after, the Huntsman visits Veylik directly, and, strangely, seems as confused as Veylik about what they are to each other or why they matter. After huntsman aura farms a bit he leaves. They have not spoken since.
12/16/2025 10:34 PM — In “Roots,” Veylik meets Kellin Astral, an observatory worker and Insolitus field observer, with whom he has formed a mutual self-care pact: each has promised to keep up with the other’s health, ensuring they take care of themselves.
Veylik intends to teach Kellin how to meal prep after seeing one too many MRE videos, and they travel to the observatory via helicopter, but the plan is interrupted when Veylik is attacked by one of Kellin’s weird fleshy robots called Killfur. Kellin is injured badly; he patches himself up but loses too much blood, prompting Veylik to force him to nap and recover while Veylik cooks for him. Afterward, Veylik goes for a smoke on the balcony and is attacked by animated wooden artist’s mannequins. The two fight off the horde, with Veylik’s bulge being crushed by railing and Kellin’s hair being singed via Molotov cocktail in the process. They share a meal and talk, then part ways.
12/17/2025 10:47 PM — “True Sight Part 2” takes place after the Huntsman’s visit, with Veylik rushing to Daimon’s hive. The two comfort each other, share more of themselves, and they spend most of the visit kissing, tenderness threading through the night and spilling into the next. Veylik cooks pastina for Daimon in an effort to help him recover from his wounds and settle enough to sleep more soundly, and he ends up staying over for the day. Before turning in however, Veylik asks to set up traps, but with Daimon both full bellied and heavily sedated, Veylik snoops through the hive as the Hunter sleeps and discovers a room apparently dedicated to the creation of onlyfins content. During this, Samara, sealed inside the attic, taunts him while also asking him to free her. Veylik also finds, in Daimon’s bathroom, a bloodied razor blade whose blood could only have belonged to him.
Afterward, the two sleep through the day. Veylik wakes first and cooks breakfast. Daimon comes downstairs shortly afterward, bleeding heavily from his Amalgam wounds for unclear reasons, prompting Veylik to patch him up as best he can. During this, Veylik tries his best to dismiss the sense of eldritch energy he feels within Daimon’s blood. They then watch Veylik’s first film, the troll Blair Witch Project, which Veylik enjoys, before he leaves to address work that needs to be done.
12/18/2025 6:42 PM: In “V. Cadron, Private Investigations Office part 3,” Exanno Tyskat, an Insolitus “Researcher,” breaks into Veylik’s hive through a window in an attempt to take his phone. Veylik stops her at gunpoint. Canios and Brandy stop by afterward, and little else occurs in the immediate aftermath. However, the consequences of Exanno’s action are significant, as Veylik later loses his hive when his landlord presents him with an exorbitant bill that he cannot repay.
12/21/2025 4:06 PM — In “V. Cadron, Private Investigations Office part 4,” Activist Marsei Robspa hires Veylik to locate her matesprit, prisoner and revolutionary, Guilot Monami. Veylik declines payment and urges Marsei to retain the spear she offers, citing its obvious sentimental value and stating that he cannot accept it without feeling he is taking something she should not part with. However, after Marsei’s insistence, he does keep the caeger. The meeting is otherwise straightforward.
12/24/2025 5:57 PM — On the public board, Veylik learns about Cecill Panick, another top Insolitus hunter who has a sexual and potentially romantic involvement with Daimon, including having made adult content together in the past. His anxiety peaks when he sees Daimon actively flirting with knot head lead Lukios Fenrir, leading Veylik to believe Daimon may soon do the same with the rocker. During this same period, Veylik, has officially been kicked out of his hive; now hiveless, he chooses to sleep in his car. Friends offer him places to stay, but his pride prevents him from accepting.
12/28/2025 4:42 PM — In “Caldre’s Caustic Medium!” while Daimon is at Caldre Hyxion’s potion shop, it is revealed that Veylik has been there the entire time, kept in the back of the shop. Veylik tells Daimon that Caldre is using him, which leads Daimon to assume something sexual is going on, but the reality is that Veylik has been hired to be experimented on as to pay back his debt to his Landlord.
12/30/2025 11:17 AM — In “The Dragon’s Pearl,” Veylik is drawn into what begins as an odd case, trying to track down a troll’s Magic: The Gathering card, when he is handed a giant twelve-foot magnifying glass and a prophecy stating he will solve the case once he finds its owner. Following the trail, he finds multiple strange happenings pointing directly to a karaoke spot called The Dragon’s Pearl, but before he can meaningfully pursue the lead, Cioppe is already there heavily drunk. The doorman, Gokudo Kyodai, chides the pair as they ruinite, escalating tensions further, especially when Veylik mentions Annie, which sends Cioppe into a blind drunken rage that forces Veylik to put her to sleep using his abilities. Veylik leaves without answers or progress on the investigation, focusing instead on taking care of his passed-out friend, and departs with Cioppe’s gun on his person after Gokudo tosses it out of the place.
12/30/2025 8:46 AM — In “The Insolitus Corporation HQ part 1,” Veylik crash-lands onto the lawn of Insolitus HQ after encountering the Starmen on their ship and consuming a potion from Caldre that helps him escape. He is met by Anyaru Servus, Fancee Loving, and Cecill Panick, and is told to clean himself up before meeting Annie in her office. After doing so, Veylik and Annie discuss the starmen and their plan to invade Bone Borough in the coming days. He also finally delivers to her the encased Root Mimic he encased ina case after its defeat. Cecill and Annie both spar with Veylik, and he ultimately sleeps in Annie’s office to recover from his Starmenites wounds.
1/1/2026 10:31 AM — In “The Lot,” after sleeping in his car for several nights in an abandoned Taco Hell parking lot, Veylik’s car is mysteriously, almost anomalously stolen. He tracks it to Roscoe’s Junk Cars salvage lot, where he discovers the malevolent spirit Eiriss Aarath has kidnapped the vehicle. Eiriss encases itself in the trash of the lot, forming a nearly twenty-foot mechanized body with Veylik’s car embedded in its chest cavity. Veylik defeats the entity by exploiting her apparent love for his car, but destroys the car in the process, and the loss becomes the final straw that drives him to go on a really long walk.
1/6/2026 12:31 PM — In “A Long Walk,” after getting into contact with Eursko Zulkaz, Veylik commits to an almost week-long walk to get his car fixed by the Insolitus dispatch worker. In the quiet of the road, he finally confronts the ever-present voice in his head that has scrutinized him since the day he joined the public board. He baits the entity with his life against the morning sun until it reveals itself and its intentions: it is The Corvidant, his ancestor, speaking in his mind and autobiographically chronicling his life. They reach an agreement to be more candid with one another, with Veylik committing to at the least hear out the Corvidant’s advice so long as the Corvidant shuts up and stops disrespecting the people Veylik cares about. A deal neither have truly upheld.
1/14/2026 7:42 AM — In “The Revival,” Veylik finally reaches Eursko, where the two chat while ant’s ant colony lusii fixes Veylik’s car. The scene is mostly playful banter while the work is completed, and the major change is simply that Veylik is mobile again. Though there is an offer to sleep in ant’s recuperacoon, something Veylik would not have minded but it is far too small.
2/5/2026 6:58 PM — In “The Return,” after Veylik’s car is fixed, he is attacked by Cioppe, whom he has not seen since The Dragon’s Pearl over a month earlier. Furious that Veylik went no contact, Cioppe decides to shoot him as punishment. Veylik manages to calm her down though, and the two discuss ways for him to pay her back; they agree he owes her for his neglect of their friendship and they briefly talk about relationships.
1/15/2026 7:00 PM — On the public board, Veylik reveals that while on the road he encountered an unknown blue-blooded troll who asked if Veylik had ever played a guitar; when Veylik admitted he hadn’t, the stranger handed him one so the two could jam together. Afterward, impressed by how Veylik played, the troll let him keep the guitar, which turns out to be cursed and kisses him, leaving an inky black mark on his body, before vanishing from his life entirely thus far.
During the same stretch of travel, Veylik stops at a diner and is spoken to by the guitar itself as he becomes embroiled in a fight with a toilet-bound ghost he agreed to slay in exchange for something to eat; the ghost proves far stronger than he was led to believe, and after Veylik is nearly drowned, he strikes a desperate deal with the guitar, which transforms into a weapon for him to use against the ghost in exchange for drinking his blood, leaving Veylik with the growing suspicion that the guitar’s intentions are not benign.
1/19/2026 9:02 PM — In “True Sight part 3,” Veylik spends the entire wipe on his walk with his phone dead, resulting in no contact with his normal friend group. When he eventually charges it, he learns of the Huntsman’s attack, which left Daimon and the ANNB news crew shot. He also learns that Daimon had attempted to reach him repeatedly, fearing the worst, only to discover that Veylik had merely “taken a walk,” had been enjoying it, and, worse, that Veylik had allegedly referred to Daimon as “just some twink,” comparing him to a Dragon’s Pearl dancer.
This leads Daimon to conclude that Veylik never truly valued him and viewed him primarily as an object of sex. So in anger and heartbreak, Daimon becomes involved in a one-night with Lukios Fenrir. Veylik learns of the encounter through a tabloid posted on the public board. When they discuss it, Veylik accepts that Daimon is his own troll and can do what he wants, though he is notably heartbroken about the news, and he clarifies that he did not call Daimon “just some twink,” emphasizing that he values Daimon as more than an object of sex or anything adjacent.
Veylik apologizes for leaving his phone uncharged and asks whether Daimon wants him to come over after realizing Lukios took advantage of Daimon’s emotional state and that the whole ordeal was ultimately distressing and traumatic for the Hunter, to which Daimon agrees. They talk and apologize, then formally become matesprits. They agree that Veylik will stay at Daimon’s hive and take on the role of Daimon’s personal chef while living there. From that point onward, they speak more openly about their pasts and the sequence ends with Veylik begrudgingly turning down Daimon’s sexual advance, insisting it is not the time while both are emotionally raw and vulnerable.
1/23/2026 6:49 PM — In “The Insolitus Corporation HQ part 2,” Veylik is involved in a sudden and brutal fight against a horde of shadowdroppers, an encounter that leaves both him and his now Eiriss-possessed car coated in a full spectrum of blood. Despite his exhaustion, his primary focus is seeing and kissing his matesprit. He travels to Insolitus HQ, where he is immediately met by Fancee and Annie, with Annie refusing to let him approach Daimon until he bathes.
While showering, Veylik briefly encounters Mishja Abyzho, a newly hired Insolitus employee who abruptly enters the shower and leaves just as quickly. Afterward, Veylik avoids another recruitment attempt from Annie as she cleans his clothes using an incomprehensible form of magic. When he believes he is finally cleared to see Daimon, Annie intervenes and, over Veylik’s protests, forces the removal of his cursed guitar.
The extraction becomes a messy and bloody ceremony conducted by Annie, who performs another equally incomprehensible ritual. The guitar is revealed to be an eldritch artifact and attempts to prevent its own removal by injuring Veylik, effectively holding him hostage. In the process, it also tears at his mind vindictively, causing him to forget much of the last sweep of his life. Although his memory can be restored without significant difficulty, he is left disoriented and badly injured, while remaining fixated on kissing his matesprit.
Once the procedure ends, Veylik is finally permitted to see Daimon, who is in Fancee’s dorm watching over Angel’s adopted baby, Stimmy Eulus. Veylik breaks down, clings to Daimon in horror at having forgotten him, and the two finally kiss as Daimon is told what occurred.
1/27/2026 9:44 PM — In “All Apologies,” Canios and Brandy come over late at night, and before Veylik is made to go to bed he gives Canios a gift: another puzzle book titled
“THE GREAT PUZZLE SMITH'S OMNIDEDUCTION GRIMOIRE COMPENDIUM: Filled with somewhere around 5,280 Mind Games, Riddles, Logic Puzzles, Cryptic Wordplay, Codes, Ciphers, Lateral-Thinking Traps, Pattern Hunts, Number Knots, Spatial Teasers, and Elementary-to-Impossible Mind Melting Mysteries—”. The book includes a bookmark ribbon embroidered with “alchemized by the caustic medium,” which Veylik had specially made with Caldre’s help.
1/31/2026 3:04 PM — In “Slight Misunderstanding,” Cecill Panick visits Daimon’s hive unaware that Veylik and Daimon have recently made their relationship official and that Daimon has officially quit adult content creation. Cecill arrives intending to film another video, an arrangement made before the relationship became official, but Daimon breaks the news on arrival and Cecill takes it poorly. In the ensuing conversation, Veylik’s ability to tell when someone is lying compulsively forces Cecill to admit he has harbored a two-sweep ongoing romantic crush on Daimon, which escalates into a verbal spat that almost turns physical as Veylik tries, and ultimately fails, to de-escalate, ending with Daimon kicking Cecill out of their hive.
2/4/2026 6:15 PM — In “Mediation,” Veylik being quite literally “love sick” accepts Fancee’s offer to come visit him and brings soup. After Veylik eats, he quickly falls asleep. While he sleeps, Daimon and Fancee talk, he assumes, about Cecill and Daimon’s future friendship.
2/12/2026 1:22 PM — In “Roscoe’s Junk Cars!” the Guilot Monami case continues after Veylik informs Marsei that Guilot is in imperial custody. The two agree to further discuss a rescue plan and arrange to meet at the same car lot where Veylik previously encountered Eiriss. There, Marsei meets Veylik’s car and also meets Gerrii and Frekki, two barkbeasts Veylik adopted after initially defeating Eiriss. Together, they talk through a plan to save Guilot from imperial prison using a map Marsei obtained during her time as a caretaker in the caverns; Marsei gives Veylik the map to study, and Veylik confirms that Daimon will likely be aiding them. Veylik then drives Marsei home where they talk about his Ancestor, The Corvidant and jam out to some music.
