I haven't read the book Little Fires Everywhere or watched the tv series. But my parents have been watching it so looked up what it is about to see if it sounds good.
But then I have realized that they fucking erased a character's (heavily implied) canon sexuality.
This character was clealy asexual in the book and they made her non-asexual (bi or lesbian idk) in the tv show.
What. The. Fuck.
Just fucking let tv characters be asexual, goddamit!
Erasing a character's canon lgbt sexuality is NOT. OK.
If she was a lesbian and they made her straight everyone would be so fucking mad.
This is the SAME FUCKING SHIT that happened with Riverdale.
Jughead was supposed to be ace, but NO...they just HAD to have him be striaght bc they need that unneccesary straight romance/sex drama idk man.
