quick maanul and kyhuine update: new posture

i just enjoy the more raptor-like posture, i think it makes them a bit more interesting than a regular humanoid bipedal stand. What's good is that i don't need to change much about the current worldbuilding to fit this new pose, but some specific subjects need to be tweaked a bit now (the saddles designs for example)

also bonus, the second image is a kyhuine using their prehensile foot to chew on a branch! their hands are still the main tool to manipulate things, but i decided to make them use their feet too sometimes, to give them a silly bird-like attitude

I will stop using the word empire from now on

I just think the word empire always wasn't appropriate to how maanuls colonies work as well as it does not Corolates with their way of thinking, it will be replaced by the word region or by stuff like south /north and ect as well as be called those in maaniali, for example maak'thao means west and keezeh means east.

On altuyur there isn't countries or borders, just bunch of colonies of people living a very community-based lifestyle, colonies can be the same number as a village to a small city (big colonies like these are rare, there is only one per region) The rest of the colonies are scattered around and will have contact with their nearby colonies.

They're so driven to being a social species that they will raise any children despite not being related blood wise, they think that spiritually they all form one and will compare themselves to the equivalent of mycelium on altuyur, because they say that they're a network that is connected to one a other. (This all also goes for kyhuines)

So I think using the word empire feels too much like if they had a country, which they don't and is a concept they wouldn't like because to them you can't own a part of altuyur or decide where a country starts and ends, they would think you're stealing from haanu (or in kyhuines case "Mahiiti" because this also applies to them)

I should mention that text with the term wealthy, rich or economy (and similar terms that could mean there is a type of money) are outdated. As I don't use these words anymore since I decided that I don't want money as it felt too human/modern for their partly Neolithic inspired world

In the impending release of new canon media involving some of our residents, we will be (hopefully) briefly decanonizing you from Dyomattia.

This currently affects all characters from:

The Amazing Digital Circus

All characters from these franchises will be decanonized until a later notice once the new canon material has passed.

Anyone currently in canon to Dyomattia is required to either; not engage in any capacity with pending characters, or decanonize themselves to engage with pending characters.

We appreciate everyone’s collective effort to keep our canon stable while we are without centralized moderation.
