Morning Dance

Cesar Legaspi is a National artist in the Philippines and he was born in April 2, 1917 in Tondo Manila and died in April 7, 1994 at the age of 76 and Cesar Legaspi took a painting for one term at the University of the Philippines School of fine arts. And Cesar Legaspi  went to the Madrid in 1953 and pursued Art studies and under a scholarship at the cultural Hispanic until 1954. And also Cesar Legaspi he also worked as a magazine illustrator and artistic director at an advertising agency, and then he finally left in agency in 1968 to focus in painting. And  during Cesar Legaspi’s time he has a lot of paintings that symbolizes to the reality in our society, and mostly he paint is “Nude” and nude symbolizes with poverty, and he also paint “Gadget” and gadget symbolizes to World II in America and he also “Games of Tree” and games of tree symbolizes to commemorate when he died, and also he paint “Morning Dance” and morning dance is symbolizes to the man and women and it is a cubism, and it is about to those people who sacrifice, suffer and survive and morning dance art is connected to the reality or real situation  in real life and this art is connected to the problem to our society that we encounter. And morning dance is like a ritual because they always experience it in their daily life, and it is like their beliefs and it is important because they should follow it.
