Scott and Stiles #2

Scott is just about to pick up his phone when Stiles slaps his wrist, phone clattering to the floor from his hand. “What the hell Stiles!?”

"I can’t let you do that buddy." Stiles says as he leans over and picks up the phone and pockets it.

"You do realise I can still take my phone from your pocket right?" 

"You do realise that phoning Allison now when she asked you not to call her will result in your relationship with her becoming more less likely to happen." Stiles retorts back and Scott visibly droops.

He can understand Allison needing her time alone, but he’s worried about her. The last time he saw her, she was crying into her dad’s shoulder after breaking up with him. Gerard had used her vulnerable state after her mom died to get her to kill her classmates. He can understand why Allison wants time away from the werewolf everything. Even when that includes him. 

"I’m sorry buddy." Stiles says somberly as he squeezes his shoulder. Scott leans into the touch and shakes his head. "I didn’t mean to be an asshole."

"I know." Scott admits, giving Stiles a small strained smile. "You’re right though. If I phone her she’s just going to push away even more."

Stiles sighs and pulls on Scott’s shoulder, Scott easily falling into Stiles’ chest as Stiles wraps his arms around Scott. 

"You two are meant to be Scott. Soulmates." Stiles whispers. "Just give her some time and let her heal."

"Thanks Stiles." Scott smiles, a real small smile this time. "You’re the best buddy to ever buddy." 

"I try."
