Tuesday was my Jet 8" planer that required all day of me repairing and today was my Dewalt planer. The sproket tensioner was way slack which caused one corner to get lower then the other 3 which caused all kinds of issues. I lost 3 days this week which is going to cost me a lot for not getting products done so i couldn't wait for a week for parts so i got out the steel and my grinder and made the necessary parts. I can not tell you how many F@@ks i shouted. Sometimes i just want to give up on it all and go live on the street😁. Well back to work i guess. Anybody want to come run a sander and scroll saw for beer and a big bag of redfish, catfish and Nilgia? Oh yea. Some shithead got a hold of my card number but @fort_bragg_fcu caught it in time but i will not have a new bank card till next week. I am still smiling because my brother Brian Henderson left me a bottle of top notch whiskey that will help take the edge off. Ever since 9th grade I decided to stop being ashamed of the scars on my body. I decided that instead of feeling guilt I would feel pride. That my scars represented overcoming and surviving something really difficult and not weakness. That completely changed my mindset on dark seasons and hard times. When I became planted at Northway Church my mindset changed again! This way of thinking became amplified. I have become this person who embraces the mistakes and the craziness, ask anyone on the team. My favorite services are the ones with the technical difficulties, the slow starts, the missed lyrics, the bad mornings. Why? Because God shows through even more on those days vs a perfect flawless service. Because on those days the Devil is already at work, already trying to take the day and that shows me that this day is EXTRA important. This shows me that we need to work even harder and when we push through and we make it we are proving that God is always victorious. Being a Christian and following Jesus doesn’t guarantee a perfect easy life. In fact it is the complete opposite! But days like those remind me why I do what I do. Why I believe in Jesus. Why I even bother building up my relationship with him. The way I view life? Bring on the bad days and I will show you just how strong I am with my God at my side.
