Let's hope the fire alarm (test) stops blaring before the night crew arrives to work 1.5 hours from now ... *reaches for noise-canceling headphones*

Time Study Reflection
Tuesday October 31st, 2017
While I presented my study, entitled “Daydreamer”, last Thursday not everyone in my class did. This meant that on Tuesday I simply observed my peers choreographic presentations and participated in the Critical Response Process. At the beginning of the class session our professor reminded us that statements of meaning are meant to be just that. A statement of meaning is simply meant to give the audience the opportunity to express which parts of the movement stuck out and impacted them the most. We are not to elaborate on our opinion, which comes later in the process.
Overall, I have begun to observe each of my peers individual styles. While each study they present is unique, consistently I notice that the movement quality for each one is very distinct and specific. It is amazing to see each of my peers, and friends, personalities shine through in their movement qualities and stylistic decisions.
In critique to everyone's choreography, including my own, we all need to step out of our stylistic comfort zones more. While each of our individual styles are beautiful in their own ways and developing them overtime is important, the point of a dance composition class is to push ourselves and grow and by exploring new styles we can figure out more decisively where we belong in the choreographic realm.
Tinnitus humor: I use tinnitus to ignore my husband and children and it works 😂😂😂😂 #tinnitus #noise #canthearmyselfthink #husbandandwife #loud #whistle #hissingsound #highpitch #roaringsound #tappingsounds #allday #allnight #everyday
Just a little tinnitus humor, after all, I have no choice or do I? 😐 #tinnitus #noise #canthearmyselfthink
