For reblog to get a cute Klaine thing in your ask - Imagine Kurt and Blaine chaperoning their kids’ school dances and dancing dorkily in the corner while their children just shake their heads at them.
AWW this is adorable! Thanks for the cute Klaine thing! I'm definitely making this into a drabble. :)

"If you let them hear you call them 'babies', they will disown you," Kurt whispered back. He was fumbling with his bow tie, trying to straighten it. "I'm usually not one for school dances but I couldn't pass up an opportunity to dress extra fancy..."
"Kurt, you could have worn sweat pants and a hoodie tonight and you'd still be the most handsome adult at the dance," Blaine said as the two of them caught up to their kids, who were now waiting for them at the doors to the gym.
"Daaaaaad," Spencer groaned. "Don't be embarrassing."
Blaine gasped in mock offense. "Excuse me, but when am I embarrassing? Papa, on the other hand..."
Kurt smacked Blaine on the shoulder and Spencer just rolled his eyes and followed his sister into the gym. "Ooh, look - there's Patrick!" With hardly a wave over his shoulder to his family, he was gone, weaving through the already substantially sized crowd towards his best friend.
"Let me guess, you see Meghan," Kurt said to Katharine.
"Not yet, but she must be here some--"
"Katharine!!"
"There she is. Bye!" Katharine said before running over to her best friend and throwing her arms around the girl.
"Well, at least Katharine said goodbye..." Kurt grumbled under his breath.
"Hey, what do you expect? They're here to hang out with their friends, not to stick with their dads," Blaine said. "Come on, let's get some punch."

An hour later, Kurt and Blaine were standing off to the side, keeping an eye on the students while they chatted with another chaperone.
"These things are always so awkward," the woman commented. "For the students, I mean. They're just starting to become aware of the opposite sex...."
"Or the same sex," Kurt said pointedly.
"Oh. Right. Of course. That's what I meant, because obviously not all guys like girls...and vice versa...because, you know, it's different for everybody, and--"
"Shailene, it's okay," Kurt said, laughing. "Relax."
"Sorry."
"Speaking of these kids starting to become aware of attraction..." Blaine said, clutching Kurt's elbow. "Is that okay? I mean, for kids as young as they are..." He pointed to a straight couple on the dance floor who were aggressively grinding to the music.
"Oh! Oh, god, no - that's just....ugh," Shailene winced. "Should I break that up? I should definitely break that up. Right?"
Kurt laughed, "Do what you have to."
"Right." As Shailene stomped towards the couple, Kurt turned to Blaine.
"I say we head over to the opposite side of the room and watch from there. And if we happen to lose Shailene in the crowd, so be it."

"I can't believe two hours have already gone by," Meghan said to Katharine as they danced to the music. "This is so fun!"
"I know! I'm having a great time!"
"Hey! Kath!" Spencer jabbed his sister in the back, getting her attention.
"Ow! Spence, I told you not to do that!"
"Shh. Just look!" Spencer pointed to one of the walls of the gym, where their parents were.
"Is that? What? No. No!" Katharine squinted. "Dad and Papa are dancing!"
"And not just dancing. Dancing badly," Spencer added with a grimace.
Sure enough, Kurt and Blaine were grooving to the music in a dorky fashion, bopping along and grinning.
"They're not here to dance! And to embarrass us in the process!" Spencer said. "I told Dad not to be embarrassing!"
"Well, maybe no one else is paying attention," Katharine said hopefully.
"Hey, Spence, Katharine - aren't those your dads?"
With a groan, the twins spun around to face Patrick.
"Um....yeah....unfortunately," Spencer answered. "Come on, Kath, we gotta go tell them to stop. People are noticing." He grabbed her hand, tugging her towards their parents, as other kids started to laugh.
"Spencer - I just heard those popular girls back there make fun of Papa and Dad."
"That's why we're going over there. Now would you hurry up?"
As they reached their fathers, the twins were horrified to see Kurt and Blaine in full out dance mode. Kurt was shimmying his shoulders and wiggling his butt, while Blaine was clapping his hands and nodding his head to the beat and swaying side-to-side.
"OH MY GOD! DAD! PAPA!" Spencer shouted as they approached. "Stop!"
"What?" Blaine said, both continuing to dance. "We can't have let you guys have all the fun!"
"Oookay." Katharine put both of her arms around her fathers' shoulders. "I think it's time you guys got some fresh air."
"But we're supposed to stay in here and keep an eye on you all," Kurt protested as Katharine steered them into the hallway outside the gym.
"I think we can handle a few minutes without you. Besides, the other chaperones are in there. We won't get into trouble."
"But-"
"Papa."
"Fine," Kurt sighed. "Come on, Blaine. Apparently we're embarrassing the kids."
"Not embarrassing, just--" Katharine started but was interrupted by her brother.
"Yes they were definitely embarrassing us, Katharine."
"Now Spencer, we were just trying to--"
"Honey," Kurt interrupted Blaine, "The dance is supposed to end in about fifteen minutes anyway. Why don't we get some air and wait for them out there? It's hot in that gym anyway."
"I guess you're right. We'll be right outside. You come find us right when they turn the lights back on, you got it?" Blaine said to the twins.
"Got it."
As the twins headed back into the gym, Blaine turned to Kurt. "I can't believe our own children kicked us out of their school dance."
"Don't mind them; they just don't appreciate how adorable we are." Kurt said, grinning. Blaine smiled back and kissed Kurt's forehead.
