Whatever...it’s a pack. Why do I get sentimental about inanimate objects? Purchased from a little shop in Reykjavik, Iceland on our way home from filming #fromthewildca episodes in Sweden, this little canvas pack has been with me on every single outing I’ve been on over the past 5 years. Expedition or day trip, you’ll see it in a lot of my posts. I have no idea who the maker is...there is no tag. It is simple. Canvas and leather and some metal buckles and snaps. It is sitting in my room, on a shelf, as I type this. Whenever I look at it I see different outdoor experiences in my mind. It is a very interesting piece of kit in that regard. None of other gear I own triggers these responses. I see friends, places, scenery, excitement, disappointment, success and failure.
