They’re a little fortress of refuge in some of the worst weather Montana can dish, from sustained high wind and heavy rain in the Missouri Breaks to temperatures in the negative double digits in Glacier... just add a wood stove. I’ve become such a Yuge fan of this set up, seriously folks, there’s no bigger fan. Believe me. Great for the car, canoe, horse packing or toboggan this is my go-to tent year round. Winter camping. I'd missed that thing late at night when the trees begin sounding off like firecrackers, somewhere around 20 below. When the wind finally died I could hear them a long ways away, one every few seconds.
