Update/Roadmap!

Hey guys it's been some time since I last gave an update so here it is! :)

These past few days I've really been working on getting the script done since that's usually the hardest part for me.

Anyways, here's my very mathematically correct calculations.

Progress towards demo:

Scripting ~ 80% done

Sprites ~ 100% done

BGs ~ 95% done

CGs ~ 65% done

Coding ~ 25% done

The demo will definitely be released this month even if it's not perfect since I really just want to get it out there.

I know I said I wouldn't be doing doing it yet, but I decided to redo Corbin's sprite and also finish two other side characters' sprites.

I'm a complete beginner at making visual novels, so redoing Corbin's sprite was very necessary lol 😔

Roadmap

I'm planning to have cwft consist of 4 chapters and 3 main endings for now.

- 1 "Happy" Ending

- 1 Neutral Ending

- 1 Good Ending

There'll also be several small endings that can achieved throughout the chapters, but I'm not sure about the total amount for now.

Chapter 1 will most likely be released around the end of June . It's about 11,000 words currently so it'll probably be around an hour of gameplay.

That being said, I want to be transparent guys, I have no proofreaders (T_T) It's mostly because I'm too embarrassed to show anyone but I just wanted to give a heads up for some leeway.

As for how long it'll take me to complete this vn, I'm not completely sure. This vn is just a fun passion project for me that I want to share with people, but it's one that I'm really feeling committed to working on consistently.

can we fix things?  is a visual novel where your yandere ex-boyfriend wants to get back together with you! Keep up your work at the local diner and avoid getting distracted. You have three days left to make rent or else you'll be tossed out onto streets.

Here's the synopsis 👇

"can we fix things?"

That's the last message you get from your ex-boyfriend, Corbin after you broke up with him. You block him, of course. His actions leading up to the separation still left a bitter taste in your mouth.

You work at an old diner trying to make ends meet, as well as trying to keep the loan sharks surveilling you at bay. Maybe it's not the life you envisioned yourself living, but hey, at least you haven't drowned yet, right?

One day Corbin shows up again, sticking to you like glue, and asking for a chance to talk, to try again. Will you give him another chance? Do you have a choice?
