Hello! I saw your tags on the post about colonoscopies, so I'm here to help you learn what that is! A colonoscopy is a medical procedure in which a camera attached to a tube is inserted into the anus to look at the colon, making sure it's healthy. The colon is right after the large intestine, and it's responsible for poop! As ppl get to ages 45+, doctors suggest them to help screen for things such as colon cancer, which can be very deadly if not caught early enough. I really hoped this helped!:D
It really does! Thanks so much and honestly that makes me feel a lot more relieved given I'm in my early twenties. I have a long time before having to deal with any of that. Also learning more about human biology is really helpful for self-care.
