re that last gifset i am absolutely obsessed with how different lilith and hilda’s respective aesthetics are specifically within the context of them being best friends. like yes <3 thinking about them just waltzing about town looking totally mismatched, everyone being surprised to see that they get on so well bc their friendship would come across as v unexpected, but they are absolutely bffs in the most genuine way 😌

one of my favorite things about caos is how flexible everyone’s morality is like agatha and dorcas straight up murdered sabrina’s boyfriend’s innocent older brother for funsies and expressed zero remorse over it and then like three episodes later the season ends with sabrina joining their squad. ambrose tells sabrina to give lilith the benefit of the doubt regarding her intentions and then goes ‘give me a lock of her hair and i’ll make all her teeth fall out’. lilith has sabrina and her friends tortured when they go to hell for no discernible reason and two seconds later she’s like ‘hey girl i need a favor’ and sabrina’s like ‘what is it?’ before casually asking her to release the soul of some dude she killed. zelda literally delighted over the news that some teenaged boy died because she wanted to use his blood for her niece’s dark baptism. it’s incredible

watching caos with my dad again and when we got to the scene where lilith is sat at the table with all of the items she collected from the spellman house he was like “she doesn’t have a life”. he gets it

i started caos with my parents yesterday on a whim and, while my mom didn’t last as usual (she fell asleep after the first episode of tfa too), my dad watched the first two episodes and actually got into it. we talked a lot about the church of night afterward, and the feminism on the show, and i gave him a couple of spoilers because i know we won’t have time to actually make it through the series and i wanted to provide some context. his favorite so far is ambrose, but he said he liked lilith as well, we just haven’t seen too much of her.

we then got to taking about michelle because we watched her on the flight attendant the other day and he said that she was very good and that she brings this quality to her characters where you want to root for her even if she’s ‘bad’ (he was saying that miranda and lilith were similar in this regard). and then he mentioned that she has a ‘kooky, aloof’ quality to her and that she always makes these interesting facial expressions that add personality. i told him how michelle has talked about struggling to get roles in the past because of how she looks, and he said that he could see that because she doesn’t have a typical face, but that she had a “fresh face” and was very talented.
