a/n: just some headcanons of what i think they’d be like playing minecraft together :) also i want to deeply apologise for not being active the last couple months. the seasonal depression has been hitting me hard

the self-designated builder and farmer
will crash out if any of the boys fuck with the aesthetic
made the boys travel multiple in game days to find the perfect spot to build your base
has many many pet wolves and cats
and axolotls
has a secret mountain base that only sam knows about bc he built his secret base in the same damn mountain
refuses to enter the deep dark but makes the boys go bc you like the blocks
made a very organised storage room
it’s alphabetised
keeps trying to hatch turtles but somehow fails everytime
breeds horses like it’s no one’s business
loves the mules
has a bunny farm in a lush cave
favorite biomes are plains, lush caves, dark forests (the forest with the mushrooms), the cherry blossom biome, mangrove swamps, and the coral reef
often dies to creepers, wither skeletons, blazes, cave spiders, and polar bears
has rage quit bc joaquin threw a snowball and accidentally pushed you off a mountain
Bucky
still doesn’t fully understand how to play but gets an A+ for effort
tamed a lot of cats until he got one that looked like Alpine
the reason keep inventory stays on
named a chicken steve
steve was murdered after you all let clint join the server
clint was promptly banned
bucky is still plotting clint’s downfall to this day
built a graveyard for all the pets that die
most of them were his…
will die almost every ten minutes
skeletons love him
refuses to go anywhere alone with sam bc he usually ends up dying
is lowkey scared of endermans but will never admit it
likes the birch forest and taiga
has died to nearly every hostile mob imaginable
Sam
the only one who actually plays the game
has a full set of enchanted diamond/netherite armor and tools
beat the ender dragon without anyone’s help
redstone fanatic
has made multiple fake carpets with holes underneath to kill bucky
bucky falls for it everytime
built a nether highway but is the only one who uses it
loves to go treasure hunting and will disappear for multiple days
uses elytra and fireworks to get everywhere
built a landing pad on the roof of the base that you hate
has built a massive hole in the ground that just goes straight to bedrock
constantly asks ‘when did they add blank?’
boasts about how he’s only died 4 times
one of those times is bc bucky lit him on fire in the desert
the other times he died were bc of multiple baby zombies and twice from shulkers in the end
favorite biomes are the nether, mountains and mesa
Joaquin
first thing he did was make a villager trading center
it goes against the geneva conventions
isn’t allowed near any dynamite after he blew up half of the base right after you finished building it
collects parrots like they’re pokémon
fishes like crazy
there’s at least three double chests just full of fish
dies to creepers often
spends days in the mines with sam
has multiple enchanted fishing rods
makes it his mission to kill the guardians at the underwater temples
and also to befriend all the dolphins
has searched frantically for a mooshroom island but hasn’t found one yet
there is one but you all decided not to tell him abt it for shits and giggles

I imagine Joaquin to be in his late 20s while reader is in her early twenties (totally not bc i’m in mine👀) Then I imagine Sam to be in his early to mid-forties and ofc Bucky is just old😭
