now that i’m fully immersed back into my cap squad era, i’d just like to remind everyone that 1. kevin feige rejected the original cap 3 plotline bc it wasn’t “big enough” and forced civil war & 2. tony stark’s role was supposed to be small (three weeks max of filming small. which makes sense bc it was a captain amerca film) but rdj threatened to walk if they didn’t rewrite to give him more screen time and then went on to call the film his iron man 4.

One of the best things to come out of TFATWS will definitely be people recognizing the true chaotic rebels in the cap quartet are Sam and Steve. Our Captain Americas have somehow wound up fugitives in almost every movie they’re in meanwhile if you take away the whole forced to become a Russian assassin thing Bucky and Natasha are just two sassy tired nerds whose loyalty constantly gets them wrapped up in risky world saving scenarios. That said Sam/Bucky as partners solving crime fresh off of being international fugitives is going to be THE sight and I am ready.
