TBH I grew up a black, poor, queer woman.
Some asshats on the internet are nothing compared to what I’ve faced, and still do face, in my day to day life. I mean, just the other day I’m walking minding my own business when some fuck nuggets in a truck pull up behind me, shout “fuck you, nigger!” and throw a full can of beer at the back of my head. Which, missed, but was also a fucking Coors Light which is almost more insulting than the slur, tbh. Like, really? A Coors? You couldn’t have upgraded to something that doesn’t taste like hot garbage?
Not the first time this has happened. Last time it was a random piece of wood, which also missed (you’d think they’d learn to aim, at least, w/e). Nor will it probably be the last time. My point is, compared to what I and many other minorities face on the day to day, this is pretty much just cute.
Anyway
Besides, maybe it’ll inspire other people to not take this type of basic bullshittery either.
