The last Deshi Yukimura had seen his sister was over 16 years ago. It had all been because he had decided to take away Kira's doll and tease her until she had snapped. Not that either of them had realized the possibility of having these types of powers since their parents had decided to keep them out of it. He had been living with their mother's oldest friend, a Forest Kitsune, since he was 12. When he had tried to come back after he turned 20, feeling as if he had perfect control over his powers, their parents had admitted to never telling Kira he ever existed. They had commanded him to stay away and out of Kira's life. His own family had rejected him and never would let him see his little sister again.
So he stayed away, moving around the country and killing for the right price. That was until he had gotten word of there being a hit on a certain woman. Kira Yukimura. His little sister. Even if their parents had forced him out of her life, he wasn't about to let her get killed over something like this. So he made his way back to Beacon Hills, without their parents' knowledge. He had spent awhile just following Kira around, feeling odd that the little girl he knew had now grown up into a woman. It surprised him that her Kitsune spirit was so weak but he wasn't surprised. Yua had told him that their mother had put some sort of containment on Kira's powers in hopes that they would never manifest. But it looked like they must have. He wondered what possibly could have happened to her for that to trigger.
Maybe this wasn't the best way to finally get Kira alone but he didn't have much of a choice. She constantly had people around her and there weren't many opportunities to get her alone. So when she had been out late and walking home alone, he took the chance. It was his mistake to think that she wouldn't be able to sense him. He hadn't even seen the fist come around until it had already connected to his cheek, grunting at the impact. "Fuck!" Standing back up he could see the terrified look on her face, grimacing as he touched his now bleeding cheek. "Damn, Kira. You've gotten stronger since I last saw you." Why his sister punching him in the face filled him with pride, he wasn't sure. But now he had her attention, even if it looked like she was about to come at him again. Holding up his hands, he swallowed hard as he tried to figure out how to make her feel any less tense about the situation. "So hi. Uh, guess what? You have an older brother, Ki." Ok, maybe he should have planned this out a little better.
