The Bramble Inn - Thai Style Diver Scallops with  Pan seared Chatham Fish & Lobster Co scallops, coconut and herb scented Thai froth, spicy grapefruit salad, green tea Chinese sticky rice

Restaurant Week Rookies

Cape Cod Restaurant Week is just around the corner and we are thrilled to announce that there are a whopping 45 restaurants to choose from this season. From the tip of Provincetown to the Falmouth shore, Restaurant Week welcomes back classics Cape spots, and quite a few newcomers, too. Before you book your reservations, take the time to get to know the new kids on the block.

Chatham Wine Bar

Marrying classic French and contemporary techniques, while using the finest local and seasonal ingredients, expect culinary masterpieces that are a treat for your eyes as well as your palate.

Fin

Dive into a menu featuring contemporary seafood using local ingredients from farms, sea farms and sustainable fisheries at this Dennis hotspot.

PB Boulangerie & Bistro

Be transported to Paris (no passport necessary) once you take a bite of award-winning chef Philippe Rispoli’s contemporary French food.

The 41-70

Diners will find an ever changing menu featuring native ingredients and traditional techniques, giving them a taste of the time and the place where they are dining.

The Pointe Restaurant

Buckle Up for Restaurant Week

Road trip! It’s that time of year again when we hit the asphalt to visit all the restaurants of Cape Cod Restaurant Week and see some sights along the way.

Not sure flamingos are native to the area but.....

Maybe we made a wrong turn? Just kidding. Get transported to South Africa by way of Eastham at Karoo Restaurant. Curious about the cuisine? We sat down last season with chef Sanette to learn about her signature dishes and the history behind this globally-inspired menu. Learn more here.

On the Road Again...

The life we love is makin' Cape Cod Restaurant Week with our friends, so we set out on the road again to visit the restaurants creating delicious prix fixe menus for you this October. 

First we trotted on over to The Old Yarmouth Inn. Did you know it’s the oldest inn on Cape Cod? Established in 1696, it became a haven for weary travelers and has evolved into a meeting area for townsfolk and visitors alike. Stop on by for restaurant week and you’re sure to feel right at home. 

The Cape has become a haven for artists of all kinds. You never know where you may stumble upon an installation- like this delight we found in Dennis.

Dine out at The Bramble Inn and you’ll feel as though you stepped into a (not-so-secret) garden. This Brewster beauty is known for being a family affair, as it is owned and operated Ruth and Cliff Manchester and their three daughters.

Chill out with Cape Cod Restaurant Week at Chillingsworth where you can dine on Contemporary French cuisine in their relaxing greenhouse lounge. 

While cruising along we stumbled upon Chatham Bars Inn’s farm! This 8 acre piece of land produces veggies and berries picked daily for their restaurants. Their greenhouse ensures that local and fresh greens make it to your plate even in the winter. 

Speaking of! Right up the steps of the Chatham Bars Inn you’ll find The Sacred Cod,  a warm and inviting New England-style tavern serving up classic pub grub.

Gather the family for supper at Soprano’s Ristorante for a truly authentic Italian experience. Pro tip, don’t skimp on the wine!

Calling all sun-lovers, sports enthusiasts, executives, beach bums and visitors (so really, just about everyone) to Red’s at The Sea Crest Beach Hotel. A menu of all your favorites awaits you at this seaside dining room. 

The Phusion Grille is a far cry from your standard Cape Cod clam shack. Situated right on the water in Wood’s Hole expect to find a unique and electric menu combing flavors from around the globe.

6/25 - 6/29 MILEAGE: BOOT CAMP + 8 MILES (and a 64-MILE DRIVE TO OLDE CAPE COD)

over the weekend, my pals Rachel and Paul got married in our hometown at the storybook-beautiful Heritage Museums & Gardens / you really can't beat a waterfall, dogwoods, and daylilies + picture-perfect sunbeams as your setting / glorious!

the night before the wedding, my folks + John and I checked out Oak & Ember, a new whiskey bar + grill in Mashpee / we were totally impressed--I loved my jumbo grilled shrimp over cool avocado gazpacho, w/ superbly al dente, had-to've-been-blanched asparagus (photo 1) / they had live music (as they do every Thursday and Friday night), and our server, Will, was so charming we wanted to pull up a chair so he could join us / great ambience, +140 wallet-friendly whiskeys, and unpretentious, hard-to-narrow-down-your-options eats / will definitely be back!
