Ice cased [i.e. moulting] Adelie penguins after a blizzard at Cape Denison / photograph by Frank Hurley by State Library of New South Wales Via Flickr: This is the first of the State Library of NSW photographs on Flickr commons to pass three million views. People really like these penguins. It was in the first group of photographs added by the State Library of NSW to Flickr commons almost years ago. It took this photograph almost eight years to have its first million views, and six months for the second million views, and four months for the third million views. As well as being viewed over one million times, this photograph has 17,426 faves and 1038 comments. The next most viewed image of ours has 415,398 views.
