Hardest, sweatiest tree to cut is in my own back yard. Still not done. #capecodtornado #chainsaw #brushwork (at Chatham, Massachusetts) https://www.instagram.com/p/B0wfxawnvun/?igshid=1fmi8uc8kwbh7

Second truckload of the day. Hot, sweaty work. #capecodtornado #brushwork #summer (at Sears Point) https://www.instagram.com/p/B0elVH6HBiQ/?igshid=aenj40male7y
The air today was permeated with the sound of chainsaws, generators, rumbling trucks, and the pungent scents of pine, maple, and oak. So many lives lost, but none of them human, which seems a great miracle given the sheer number of people here, coupled with the intensity of the unexpected storm. And yet, I’m still reverent. My heart hurts for the trees, some that had already weathered so much. I pray that rather than just being made into shredded chips, some of the wood from these magnificent entities will be turned into furniture, or better still, homes. #capecodtornado #lovethislife #cherisheachmoment #chooselove #365grateful #peace https://www.instagram.com/p/B0UmPJDnT9v/?igshid=1jl2yx5pb3h6t

The reason why we were without power for 24 hours and 24,000 people are still without it? A gazillion trees like this one, taking down power lines. Sincere thanks to everyone who’s been working so hard, many through the night, to get the Cape back on the grid #capecodtornado #capecodsummer #capecodphotography https://www.instagram.com/p/B0UBdiMlEmH/?igshid=709qapit1a3w
