So if I'm not mistaken, Caper's effective attack interval would be

Start-up animation + travel time to target + travel time to Caper + wind-down animation

I didn't want to speculate on what the ideal distance from Caper was in my numbers because I don't know the animation timings which do matter here. If we assume no animations, I believe it is about 2.808 tiles from her position but I can't really say with any certainty.

Caper Numbers

This isn't necessarily a full fledged analysis (I haven't used Caper all that much since I haven't had the EXP to level her yet), but I love doing the act of crunching the number.

Caper Loopshooter Sniper Trait: Can only attack while holding a boomerang projectile (projectile takes time to return). (Boomerang travels to the target at a speed of 15 tiles per second and returns at a speed of 3.5 tiles per second.)
