Huge Update!

So, as most of you have already heard, I lost my two betta boys (Capey/ @capeys-tank to possibly gill flukes or ammonia burn, and Candlewick/ @candlewicks-catacombs to a completely preventable decoration mishap) :(

As fewer of you know, two of my main coping strategies are either to care for someone or something else or to distract myself with different activities. I couldn't just bring another fish into Capey's tank because I had to disinfect and recycle it due to whatever sickness he may have had.

However, Candlewick did not die due to sickness. And after doing a one hundred percent water change, here's how the readings came out:

pH 7.4, nitrite 0ppm, nitrate 0ppm, and ammonia 0ppm. Will definitely be keeping a closer eye on that ammonia level this time around!

Candlewick's tank will not be empty for long, I can assure everyone ^^ I'm sure both Candlewick and Capey would be honored to have another betta rescued in memory of them.

2-8-2018 Completely forgot to post this earlier, but look what @solarsplendens made for me!! 😍😭 The little bracelet looks just like Capey, and even has his name on it in my handwriting. It's an amazing gift for an amazing, dearly beloved fish ^^
