Thank you!12) Who is your favourite character to write for? Why?Definitely Katsuki. Writing humor through him always just feels really natural, and on top of that, he’s such an interesting, complex character. Trying to get inside his head and figure him out is really fucking fun tbh
35) Do you share your story ideas with anyone else or do you keep them close to your chest?It kinda depends. I love talking about my story ideas, but I don’t typically volunteer that information unless it naturally comes up in conversation because I don’t wanna annoy anyone lol. Also, I tend to avoid bringing up my ideas in really public places, like on twitter or in public discord servers. A while back one of my friends told me there was someone in some discord who had actually been stealing others’ ideas and writing them. I think that sort of thing’s probably pretty rare, but my story ideas are like, my fuckin children and you can never be too careful lol

If you could change anything in [title], what would it be?oh god. tbh, Left Hook was the first thing I wrote after YEARS of not writing a single thing for any fandom and I almost consider more like a warm-up exercise to everything that came after it. if i could change something it would either be 1) rewrite the entire beginning of it, like delete the first 500-1000 words and start over OR 2) dismantle the fic, strip it for parts, and incorporate the ideas into other fics???

7. Share a snippet from one of your favorite pieces of prose you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.
Ah, this is so hard? I hate having to compliment myself? I don’t even know what my favorite work I’ve written is?
I think I’ll have to put this line from Where did you go to end up right back here: He wants to feel the pressure of something solid and opposing crumble under the force of his knuckles, the force of his will, in a way that his reactions never seem to.
Mostly just because that’s a very real sentiment I was writing about? That entire scene (the panic attack) is very raw to me. I honestly have a hard time reading it over, so I don’t even fully remember what I’ve got written there, but I’m glad that I was able to express myself that way at least once, if that makes sense?
25. What do you look for in a beta?
Honestly, anyone who willingly says “hey, I can beta.” I haven’t ever had a beta for fanfic works? I feel like it’s probably pretty noticeable since I always find typos and grammatical errors whenever I read over my posted stuff. It’s not because I’m unwilling to have my work edited by others, it’s just that I’m just too shy to go out and find someone to do so? Same with being a beta, if someone needs an extra eye to look over their work, I’m totally happy to do it, but I’d probably never nominate myself for it unless someone asked.
40. Write an alternative ending to Where did you go to end up right back here?
So, this is the ask that took me days to complete aha, if you’re wondering why I haven’t posted this reply sooner. At first I wasn’t sure where to go with it, because I had never imagined a different ending to that fic? But after thinking it over I ended up writing 1000+ words of a sort of different ending. Not sure if it’s cheating, because I didn’t so much as change where my story went, so much as simply changed where the story left off? I’m going to post in separately though because of length! Can be found here!

1. Miritama (BNHA), simply because I’m currently working on a fic for them, and it’s hard not to fall deep into whatever ship I’m writing about at the time.
2. Drarry (HP), it was my very first ever ship after all - oh to being 15 (or like 12, if we’re being honest).
3. Bakudeku (BNHA), because it inspired me to write some fanfiction for the first time in quite a while.
4. Eiffera (W359), because they ride or die.

Ahhh, thank you! <332. Who’s the one character who shines without you even trying?I know I’m somewhat contradicting myself here, since I said just a few asks ago that he was a difficult character to write, but… Katsuki. At least, as far as humor goes lol, because while his emotional constipation makes major emotional events and turning points a challenge to write, in casual situations, his thoughts and dialogue kind of just come out naturally. All the weird insults and nonsensical threats. The suggestive teasing. At least part of it probably has to do with the fact that he’s normally talking to Izuku, and BakuDeku banter is just kind like that… but if I’m being completely honest, most of the silly/crazy things Katsuki says just sort of come out without me actually thinking about it.
48. Does anyone you know from outside of fandom know you write fanfic? Are they involved in the same fandom too?At the moment, the only people who know are my sister and my best friend, and between the two of them, my best friend is the only one who know which fandoms I write for. She’s not super into fandom, but she’s written some fic for No.6, and she kinda low key ships all the same ships I’ve written for so far. She doesn’t know my usernames or any of the names of my fic, although if she wanted to she could easily figure it out, since I’ve told her plenty about the plot of the stories themselves. I actually explicitly told her not to read any of them, though, and she respects that. Idk, it’d just be too goddamn weird lol.
