The results have been announced so I can share this! I entered the coloring book contest for this year's Resin Rose BJD Expo... and won! I'm so excited and surprised and happy, especially because I haven't been able to finish much these past few years because of my arm. I hope it's fun to color. 💕

I recently binge-read all of the Stariel series by AJ Lancaster (which are REALLY enjoyable gaslamp fantasy books with FAIRY NONSENSE, my favorite kind). So have this portrait of the main character Hetta! I'm still sort of figuring out her face, and also how to draw that late Edwardian/Titanic-era Lewk. (This is the Earth equivalent I've settled on in my heart, anyway, due to relatively common car presence but no radios.)

I was feral about these two from basically the moment Cyprian showed up in A Fashionable Indulgence, and when I got to their book I was INCREDIBLY REWARDED. I like weaselly gingers, what can I say?? It was a library book, but I might have to buy my own copy to keep. I have a disease.
