Tekken 8 Prologue - Christie Montiero

After her grandfather had died, Christie and Eddy looked past their differences and opened up an orphanage together. However, shortly after, Eddy left for Japan to compete in the King of Iron Fist. Christie stayed behind the look after the orphanage but did her best to follow Eddy’s progress.

After Eddy’s first victory, Christie stopped hearing from him. He never returned her calls, and while Eddy was never the easiest person to contact but this was usually behaviour even for him.

Christie was worried. The world was at war, and she was concerned for his safety. At the same time, Christie felt that she couldn’t leave the orphanage, so she waited and waited until it had been a few months. By this point, she felt like she had no choice. Leaving the orphanage under the care of her parents, Christie booked a flight to Japan. Eddy’s last known whereabouts was at the tournament, so that would be the first place to look.

I couldn't think of how to write something for this as I have no idea who would use capoeira in the show, so I hope just some headcanons are okay.

She would be a little caught off guard and weirded out by the way they're fighting

She starts to get really angry when no matter what she does, they keep dance dodging around her attacks

She thinks they're mocking her with their "dance fighting", not thinking that they're actually being serious

No matter who wins the spar, she feels like she lost overall with how stupid she thinks she looked trying and failing to hit them

The minute I finish Black Boys Bloom Thorns First: Vol 2, I will be doing a post on the real life Black Diaspora history mentioned throughout my Black Panther fics.

I wanted to share one of my favorite videos of a real life badass Black master of the art, Profesora Andorinha, so those of you who have read about Califia and Erik in my fics can see how dangerous Califia is (and Erik) when they go off. If you read the first volume of BBBTF, the scene where Califia fights N’Jobu in the apartment...you can see within the first 30 seconds of this video what N’Jobu was facing with the mother of his child. Enjoy! Black women everywhere are amazing!

Tekken 7 - Christie Monteiro Concept

I would love to see Christie return to Tekken 7 one day! Here is an idea I had for her redesign. As she lost her grandpa after Tekken 6, I think she would be in a more mournful costume reflecting her sadness. I wanted to keep the purple colour as it is her signature! If there is a season 4 lets hope she comes back! :D

Hey everyone and welcome to the final Test render of Zecora and the last submission of the 2018! Ever since uniting Zecora to her the Blossoms, Lady Maya made time to frequently visit Zecora to make up for all the neglect that she received by Axel and the lost of their family who help Zecora escape from their country. Maya feels obligated since she has Axel's memories to help Zecora finds closure from their past and rekindle their relationship as a family, and Zecora definitely makes Maya work for that. Zecora makes Maya gathers herbs and plants for her remedies and help her around the clinic. More often then not, Zecora requested that her and Maya duel against each other in Capoeira in which Zecora is a master in that martial art. Maya knows in order for a warrior like Zecora to ever gets a chance to put her past aside, she needs to have her retribution against Lord Axel. Knowing that she will lose against a skillful fighter like Zecora, Maya agrees to duel against Zecora only using their culture martial art. As the tradition, different musical instruments like drums and berimbaus is played while the two of them is dueling. All the times Maya fought against Zecora in this style, Maya haven't won once against Zecora. While The Equestrian Maya and Zecora actual have a duel in Capoeira, their pony/anthro counterparts uses Capoeira as a form of dancing and play. The Anthro Maya finds it fascinating to engage with the other side of her culture with her Zebra relative and especially loves seeing her Equestrian Counterpart getting her comeuppance for neglecting such a beautiful being like Zecora. Sometimes the tension between them lasts throughout the night, when Maya discovers Zecora sleeping beside her when she wake up from her bed. And now The Zecora Doi Gallery is completed. I've already finish with the last part a Chapter two of The Lunar Eclipse is finally complete. I have a little other gifs pics ready as well. After that I'll be in hiatus for a while since I'll be working on my new computer and transferring data to to the new one. I'll be starting the operation in the beginning of the new year and post updated on how things are going. If the operation takes longer then I thought I'll post the animated Gif of my comic strips as a way to stay active.
