Since I've been very successful, I decided to purchase a designing studio in which I'm paired up with my new love, a skillful graphic designer Lady Maya Matsui or Lord Axel Doi when he wasn't fuse with Lady Maya after a apocalyptic battle between them. Hello everyone, one welcome to my last post of The Yokai Bijinga for the season. Toady we are taking a look at another Fox Yokai, Osan Gitsune.

Osan Gitsune, Translated as "Osan the Fox" was a stylish and popular Yokai who loves playing pranks on other humans. Osan would appear as a beautiful young lady and seduce the young men around her area making them betray their wife or girlfriend, even when Osan's secret identity the men would still continue their affair. There's also been many different stories about The Osan Gitsune throughout Japan, and I also have made another Fox Yokai name Tamano no Mae who is similar to Osan as she is a shape shifting trickster but targets men who are in the position of power.

This will be the last post I will make for this season, I'll be taking a hiatus to gain more materials and might dive in to another gener of artwork. Thank you for stick with me on this. I'll see you again soon.

Alt Title: 優雅な乙女:竜宮女房 Hello Everyone and welcome to another edition to the Yokai Bijinga Series! Today we are heading back yo the Edo's version of The city of Atlantis, Ryūgū, to talk about a very special Yokai, Ryūgū nyōbō. Ryūgū Nyōbō, literally translates as “Wife from Ryūgū”, is a yokai how possesses an extraordinary power that produced anything for whoever is fortunate enough to become her spouse. As daughters of powerful mystical under seas creatures in Ryūgū, the Ryūgū Nyōbō are sent as a gift to the human as a gratitude from the undersea palace for helping them in someway. The Ryūgū Nyōbō appears as a beautiful young woman who grants wishes. Because of their beauty and extraordinary abilities, many nobles and politicians sought out to claim The Ryūgū Nyōbō as their own. There are many stories about the Ryūgū Nyōbō that some varieties may change based on how the story was told. This is a brief summary of this yokai, the link will be in the description for that. Alt. Title: 毛だらけの遊女:毛倡妓 Hello everybody and welcome to another addition to my Yokai Bijinga Series. Today we’re looking at a rather hairy Yokai named Kejōrō. Kejōrō, literally translates as “Hairy Prostitute” is a Yokai courtesan whose face and body are covered in a vile of long black hair. Kejōrō resides at the Red Light District and Brothels. Kejōrō’s victims are young men who visits the brothels and had the unfortunate pleasure to meet her. At first the patron would see what appeared to be a beautiful woman from behind but they would be shocked to see that her entire face was covered by her hair. As the patron tried to escape, The Kejōrō would use her hair to attack the patron by either strangling him or ripping him into pieces. While feared by the human males, Kejōrō is very popular among the Yokai. So popular to the point that many male yokai would fight each other over for her affection. The Kejōrō would return the affection by cutting parts of her hair and sending it to her lover (either human or yokai) or tattoo her arm to prove her devotion. In some stories The Kejōrō would have a normal face underneath all her hair and some stories her hair covered her entire body. Guess what rendition I’m going with. Alt Title: 死の笑い：笑い女 Hello everyone, welcome to another addition to a Yokai Bijinga Series. Today we take a look at Warari Onna Warari Onna, literally translated as (Laughing Woman) looks liker any young lady in her late teens, so you won't see any distinguished appearance about her exact for her laughter. The Warari Onna resides deep on the mountains at the island of Shikoku. Warari Onna appears to other travelers on first, ninth, and seventeenth day of each month. Their laughter can often be heard at a far distance of the mountains late at night. Despite their appearance The Warari Onna are extremely dangerous Yokai. If travelers goes up to the mountain were The Warari Onna lives, the Yokai would point and laugh at the travelers, some of the travelers would laugh with the Yokai, however they will continue laughing even after the encounter and would eventually die from laughter. Those who don't laugh with the Warai Onna, would suffer from hallucinations from the encounter having hearing The Warari Onna's laughter and even visual illusions of the Yokai. Alt. Title: 秋の精神:紅葉 Hello Everyone welcome to another addition to the Yokai Bijinga Series! Today we a got a Yokai for you Autumn fans, Momiji Momiji, literally translated as "Maple Leaves" is a Kijo (鬼女）(Demon Woman) Who is disguise as a beautiful princess name "Sarashima Hime." Sarashim Hime or Momiji lived in the mountain prefectures of Nagano. It's quite known that Momiji usually appears at the Falling of the Leaves viewing that take place in the Autumn at the mountain. There is a story of a samurai who came to visit one of these viewing where he met Sarashime Hime. The samurai was mesmerized by Sarashime Hime's Beauty  and spend some time with her dancing and drinking under the maple tree. But just as the samurai was enjoy the day with the beautiful princess, his holy sword warned the samurai about the princess true identity and he must slay the the witch. The samurai chased that the princess when that beautiful maple trees turn into fire and Sarashima Hime revealed her true form as ten foot tall kijo. Thanks to the samurai's holy sword, he had slain Momiji. That's about the summary of Momiji, well part of the story. There are many version and retelling of the character as that are with many of these Yokai but if you want to learn more about Momiji I will post a link to her story. Alt. Title: 伝説の宝石狩り:玉取姫 Hello Everyone, welcome to another addition to the Yokai Bijinga Series. Today I have a more heroic tale about this Yokai. Today we are taking a look at Tamatori Hime. Tamatori Hime Literally translated as "Jewel-Taking Princess" is a well know Yokai whose stories been told throughout numerous of noh plays, novels, and Yakuza body tattoos. Tamatori Hime's legacy is Preserved by temples around Lake Biwa. Tamatori Hime's nickname was given to an Ama, a pearl diver who dove deep underwater to the bottom of the ocean to steal back a priceless jewel form a Dragon King name Ryūjin. Tamatori Hime is usually depicted wearing a tradition Ama dress and is bear-breasted carrying a tanto sword or a knife. One of the more popular stories of Tamatori Hime Legend is about a woman name Tamamo who went below the surface to retrieve A Legendary Jewel called "Menkōfuhai no Tama" from Ryūjin. The Jewel once belonged to her husband Fujiwara no Fuhito, and after Fujiwara told his wife Tamamo why he first came to her homeland and about Ryūjin and his stolen Jewel, Tamamo decided to dive deep underwater and steal back the Jewel from The Dragon King. Tamamo sacrificed her after fight numerous of monsters that Ryūjin sent after her. Tamamo used her knife to cut open under her breast to hide the jewel before pulling on hope rope to single her husband to pull her to the surface. Before she died, Tamamo told Fujiwara where she hide the jewel and had him to promise to rise their son to become a noble man for her. This by far one of my favorites Yokai story wise, comes to show what someone will do for the sake of their love ones, so naturally I want to make my own rendition of it, so here we are. Alt. Title: 死んだ美しさ:骨女 Hello everyone, welcome to another addition to the Yokai Bijinga Series. Today we are taking a look at Hone Onna. The Hone Onna, Laterally translated as "Bone Woman" is another ghost Yokai and like the last Yokai we covered Otsuyu. Much like Otsuyu, The Hone Onna is not a malicious Yokai, but a romantic Yokai who raise from the grave in search for her former lover. Hone Onna appears as a beautiful young woman at her prime, most likely had that image during the time that they died. Only those who are not clouded by love or have a strong religious convection can only see The Hone Onna in her true form: a routing, skeleton, form returning to her grave. The Hone Onna would rise from her grave at night and roam to her lover's house. The lover would be surprised to see the Hone Onna's return believing that the woman had died, and yet is happy to be reunited with The Hone Onna. That joy will blind the lover of Hone Onna's true form and the two would rekindle their affair. The affair however, will drain the lover's life force until he eventually dies and will forever be with the Hone Onna from beyond the grave, that is if the lover figures out the truth of the Hone Onna first. That's the brief summary of the Hone Onna and of course this is my own rendition of The Hone Onna. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy working on it. Alt. Title: 牡丹燈籠の幽霊:お露 Hello everyone, Welcome to another Yokai Bijinga artwork. Today we are taking a look at a Yokai name Otsuyu. Otsuyu translated as "dew" as a ghost apparition or Yokai from  Botan dōrō or "Peony Lantern." Otsuyu is known as one of "Nihon san dai kaidan" of Japan's Big Three Ghost Stories along with Oiwa and Okiku. The story of Otsuyu has more to do with romance rather than revenge. In one of the stories of Otsuyu, the Yokai came to visit a widower who has recently lost his wife. Otsuyu were said to travel along side her servant carrying lanterns filled with peony flowers. It's a small summary of Otsuyu I like to encourage my view to do a bit more research in to this Yokai if you're interested to read more about her. Hello Everyone, welcome to another Yokai Bijinga series. Today we are taking a look at Toyotama Hime. Toyotama Hime translated as "Divine Pearl Princess," One of the two Sisters known to be referred to as "Otohime" in the Shinto mythology. To shy away the confusion from my previous Yokai, The Otohime that I made can be refer to as Toyotama Hime's younger sister Tamayori Hime. Which means Toyotama Hime is the Eldest Daughter of the god of the sea and also refer to as "Ehime" ”愛媛” or First Princess. Like her Younger Sister Toyotama Hime also reside in the underwater palace of Ryūgū. Since Toyotama Hime and Tamayori Hime, stories are so similar and their stories varies depends on what version it is, I can't exactly tell you and accurate background to this Yokai, but I know that Toyotama and Tamayori Hime are one of the most important figure in the Shinto mythology. Alt. Title: 乙女の鰐:乙姫 Hello Everyone, hope you have a wonderful day or night. Welcome to another addition to my Yokai Bijinga series. Today we are taking a look at a Yokai name Otohime. Otohime, literally translated as "Second Princess" as a younger daughter of the god of the sea. Otohime resides in the underwater palace of Ryūgū where she spends the majority of her life. Otohime is an immortal Yokai who appear as a young and beautiful lady, and known to be kind hearted in nature. Although she appears as a young lady, her true form is said to be a turtle or a crocodile shape dragon called a wani (鰐). There are many stories about Otohime, some with included of a boy name Urashima Tarō who came to visit the palace and the princess and return to tell about it. In the Shinto religion, Otohime is often refer to ether Toyotama Hime or Tamayori Hime (In which both of these Yokai will get their own segments I promise you.) Alt. Title: 猪苗代町の精神:亀姫 Hello Everyone welcome back to another addition to my Yokai Bijinga series. I hope everyone doing well today. We got another story to tell about this Yokai so let's get right into it. Kame Hime translated literally as "Turtle Princess" is another reclusive Yokai the resides in Inawashiro Castle currently at the Fukushima Prefecture. Little is known about this Yokai, but it's believed that Kame Hime is the younger sister of Osakabe Hime, the previous Yokai I made an artwork of. Kame Hime got her name based of her haunting the Inawashiro Castle's nickname Kame Castle or Turtle Castle. For more details about this Yokai I will leave a link to her if you want to visit it. Alt. Title: 壁の后ろの女性:長壁姫 Hello everyone, welcome to an all new Yokai Bijinga artwork. Hope you all having a great day or night today, so let's get into the story. Osakabe Hime, Translated as "The Lady of the Walls" is a reclusive Yokai would lived in one of the highest floors in Himeji Castle often avoiding other humans. Once in a while Osakabe Hime would appear to the castle's lord to greet him a and tells him his fortune for the coming year. Osakabe Hime's true identity is unknown. Many folklores about her depicts her as a nine tail kitsune (fox) since she is known to be a rather powerful and knowledgeable Yokai, often manipulates other people and tricked them in someway. She often seen as an older woman wearing a 12 Layered Kimono, in which give me my "Hold my Beer" moment and use me older set of that kimono and repurpose it to use for my current models. Alt Title: 濡れた悪魔:雨女 Hello everyone, welcome to another Yokai Bijinga Artwork. Today we are taking a look at a rather monstrous Yokai, The Ame Onna. As the her name puts it, The Ame Onna is a Yokai that appears in rain days and night. The Ame Onna is rather a malicious Yokai known for kidnapping or spirited away small children, mainly little girls. The Ame Onna would appears as an older woman soaked in rain water often licking the rain off her skin. The story goes that a mother whose child was snatched away from her would become delirious out of grief and desire after losing her child. After losing her mind, The woman would appear at night roaming the streets looking to replace what she has lost. This seems to be a rather a story to make mischievous children to behave and not to roam far away from their parents, but anyway I have my own rendition of The Ame Onna. Alt. Title: 忌まわしき魔術師: 滝夜叉姫 Hello Everyone. It's been a long while since my last post, too while for my liking. Welcome to an all new and a continuation of my Yokai Bijinga series. This artwork I was working on a year and a half ago, but do to my circumstances I couldn't continue working on it, so it was on delay up until now. I finally was able to finish this project and now it's here. I start this series with Takiyasha Hime. Takiyasha Hime is the daughter of Taira no Masakado and a Necromancer who raises the dead in attempt to conquer Japan. Takiyasha Hime's story was very popular among the Edo period of Japan, many woodblock prints, novels, and kabuki plays, was made of her. I will post a link if you want to go on my details of her. I’m Back

After a year and a Half of Hiatus I'm glad to announce that I'm finally back with new materials. It was becoming difficult to continue posting artwork a year in a half ago because of my circumstance related to my Real Life. I had to wait until I was in a better position to continue working on my projects and to find out where I should go from here. For a while I thought I may not return of making artwork for good. Well, I'm in a new environment and eventually went back on what I love to do. In order to get my groove back I needed to go back in to the source of why I became a graphic artist in the first place. And so, I have return to my roots and pursue my dream of being a Bijinga Artist. I always want to be a Bijinga Artist. Even after all these years, that desire haven't change. Therefore I and debuting once again my Yokai Bijinga artwork. Right now I finish up to ten new artworks and I'm making more as of writing this.
