They were on the way to the balcony where Hux would give his speech. Suddenly Hux froze.

"Everything alright?" Ren looked around. Hux glanced at him.

"Was that... Dameron?"Kylo frowned. And smiled noticing Resistance pilot in a hood with some screaming kid next to him.

"It's him." Hux snorted amused.

"Maybe we should give him a VIP lounge." He grabbed Kylo's hand. Knight smiled.

"Possessive are we?"

"Me? No. I promised holding your hand didn't i?"

"And you just remembered that looking at Dameron?"

"Yes. But it has no connection."

"Not at all."

"Should i offer him an autograph?"

"Don't be cruel." Hux rolled his eyes. "that's his son."

"Why would i care?"

"He wants to go to First Order academy." Hux glanced at Kylo and grinned.

"Well i do care now. Can i be cruel just a little?"

"You are not to come closer to the crowd Hux. It's a safety hazard. Especially with Dameron there." Kylo grabbed his hand stronger.

" It will do good for our image. Come on Ren i have you behind. and i am armed. Let's have some fun." Hux came closer to the railings. They did that before. Ren stayed close hovering over the minds of people. Checking their intentions. Hux rarely talked to people. But he knew locking himself in a palace wouldn't do him good.

"How's Dameron's mind.?"

"Closed."

"Is he armed?"

"I don't think so. He has orange papers. They should search him properly. "Hux nodded standing next to the Dameron's kid. Talking to some enthusiast next to him. He lean on the railings.

" And what's your name..?" he glanced down.

Dameron shoot him a look that could count as assassination attempt. But kid was in awe.

" Seji sir! Can you sign my badge?" Hux smiled amused.

" I can sign your flag. Keep the badge clean for the academy. " He smirked glancing at Dameron.

"Hux he has a knife!" Hux reacted immediately paring the blade with his arm. He used to wear light armour to any public event so blade just slide down. But he winced feeling the impact of the hit in his spine. Kylo held Dameron with Force and Hux took a step back leaning on the railings. Trying to look unbothered. His health was not public concern, and he intent to keep it that way. Security appeared behind Dameron in a few seconds.

"Leave him." Hux said. Kylo glanced at him, took Dameron's knife and offered Hux his hand. He accepted it.

"That was petty, Darling." He murmured and Hux just smiled.

"Worth it. Investigate people that should search him, though. It's unacceptable."
