The Capp university residence
Tybalt was no longer alone in that big house as his fiancee Ellen and his sister Juliette moved in. Ellen and Juliette seemed to get along well. [And yes, the house is not fully finished yet lol.]

Consort may have been old, but he still needed some romance in his life. When he first met Dina, she wanted nothing to do with him. Although she was impressed by his material assets, she found him somewhat threatening and unpleasant to be around.
But then eventually they started casually dating, although Dina still wasn't sure what she really wanted from this relationship.
Ellen started working for Capp & Daughters Insurance Co. as a field sales representative. She even got her own work station at home, to make those remote overtime hours easier (which she really insisted on doing).
She had a lot of grandiose business ideas, and she really wanted to prove to her grandfather-in-law that she was worthy of higher positions in the company as well (Consort was still the honorary CEO, while his role's responsibilities were attended to by several other employees in high positions, such as Regan and Cornwall).
I think it's safe to say that Ellen knows how to get her leftover wedding cake and eat it too.
But Tybalt can't complain either - he finally became a member of the SimNation Conservative Party [and yes I will apologise for this every single time] and started working in an assistant position under Mary-Sue Pleasant, helping her manage those campaign projects.
Tybalt was still passionate about playing music, but not nearly as good at it as you'd expect him to be after so many years of practice. Ellen didn't always appreciate having to listen to him play after a long day of work.
Mr. and Mrs. Capp
Ellen didn't have to, but she chose to take Tybalt's last name. She liked the idea of belonging to this reputable and wealthy family. Also, not many know this, but Ellen's birth name is actually Elena Frost. She started using Ellen as a child because she thought it made her sound more serious and confident. But "Elena Capp", hmm... that has somewhat of a noble ring to it.
It was a day that ended nice for most involved...
...but not for the poor gardener who was forced to sit through the wedding for some reason and then nearly frightened to death by an ancestor (ancestors love weddings it seems) when he tried to finish the job he started in the morning.
Consort: So you're Miranda's new suitor. What's your name again?
Ripp: Uhh, I'm Ripp, Ripp Grunt. It's a pleasure to finally meet you Mr. Capp. Although I've been Miranda's boyfriend for over a year now...
Consort: "Boyfriend" means very little around here. If you want to be part of our family, you need to show your commitment.
Ripp: Are you implying I should show up to the next family event with a diamond ring?
Consort: There won't be a next family event for you if you don't, in fact, so I can only recommend.
Ripp: Ha, that's a good one, Mr. Capp! Imagine me, a broke college student, buying a diamond ring and getting married at 19! I think I would be even more surprised than my dad. That's hilarious! ... Oh, it wasn't a joke, right? You were being serious, weren't you? Watcher help me...
Consort, thinking: And he eats like a pig, too... If I didn't know better, I'd mistake this boy for a Monty. I can't trust Miranda's choices. Goneril raised her way too lenient. She doesn't realise the weight of what it means to be a Capp and to inherit all this fortune and title.
Juliette: You've done a great job, Granddad, this wedding is so nice.
Consort: Yours will be grander, don't you worry. Granted that you find someone worthy and suitable for the role of your groom and husband. Someone who doesn't bring shame on our family.
Juliette: Huh? You can already start planning Hermia's then, I guess. I just wanted to say something nice for once, but here you are bringing this up again. I can't believe it...
Consort, thinking: So ungrateful, all these children. I bet she just wants to run back into the arms of that Monty kid. If Juliette and Miranda are both so immature, who can I let inherit the company and the manor? Maybe it's not too late to talk to Tybalt about it... but then I'd be disrespecting my late wife's legacy.
Luckily, somehow Consort still had a good opinion of Hermia's almost-fiancee Puck, and a positive outlook on the future of the relationship between the Capps and the Summerdreams too. The only problem was he couldn't see Hermia as CEO of a huge business, and she wasn't keen on the idea indeed. Still, Consort made sure to let Hermia and Puck know that he was counting on them to "stay decent and carry on the good reputation of the family".
But we didn't gather together today to watch Consort run around obsessing over making arrangements, so let's cut to the main action.
Back in Veronaville and we have a wedding to attend today! Tybalt and Ellen are tying the knot on this fine Saturday afternoon to officially begin their life together at the Capp manor - which they will enjoy at least until the next female heir decides she needs the whole place to herself and boots them out of there (I actually doubt it will ever come to that but we'll see). It's not the fanciest celebration you'll ever see, but it's certainly more significant than your usual courthouse wedding.
The party isn't lacking in guests, as the whole extended Capp family was invited alongside their partners (excluding any Montys of course), as well as the Summerdreams.
Preteen Desdemona, who is slowly growing out of her innocent fairy phase, is curious to know more about what it means to be married, and Ellen isn't afraid to give her the details.
Geoff Rutherford lived a life full of romantic conquests, not caring about his family's opinion. He even had a slight crush on his brother-in-law Jason, but he didn't dare to make any moves in the end.
After hooking up with Kent Capp, their relationship turned serious, and it seemed Geoff began to grow up and make peace with the thought of settling down. Even though by now he could have afforded moving out on his own from his sister's house, Kent moved in with Geoff, since Geoff's former roommate Connor had already left to live with his partner Samantha.
Their wedding took place at their home, much to Geoff's disappointment, who wanted a lavish party, but Kent convinced him to keep it lowkey since his family was pretty divided on this marriage already, and he didn't want a lot of attention.
Unfortunately, Kent's father still managed to steer up drama by subtly attacking Geoff. He was still bitter to see his son with a man and "refusing to continue his legacy". Although Kent was hurt, he made the decision to cut himself and Geoff off from his dad for good. Luckily, his sisters were understanding of him at least, but still, he preferred not to associate himself with the Capp family name anymore. Geoff's sister Marissa wasn't necessarily supportive of their relationship either, but she did most of the avoiding herself.
Despite the hurtful opinions coming from older relatives, the Rutherfords still had a good support system in their close friends (like Connor and Bianca), plus, they became known as the cool gay uncles to all their young and open minded nieces and nephews.
Hal and Ariel's birthday
Ariel is now 6, Desdemona is 12, Hal is 13 and Miranda is 19 and going to college shortly. Hal grew up to be a Romance Sim (which he may grow out of later).
Desdemona got a bit of a preteen makeover. She is temporarily trying to show up cool at school instead of marching around in a fairy costume.
And this is first grader Ariel.
