Three Drawn Ships that Cappy from “Super Mario Odyssey” is in:

1. Cappy x Mario (Capprio)

This may sound weird, but there are actually people who ship this. Honestly, as much as I’d like to see them hanging out together from time to time, I personally don’t see how them dating would work out; rather, I view them more as best friends, so… there you go.

2. Cappy x Huey (HueCap/Happy)

Now I KNOW that this is even rarer, but I just can’t help the fact that it looks like a cute little ship, though I didn’t get the idea myself (*cough, cough* @cherryozyi *cough*…). I kinda draw this ship sometimes, and it just… it just looks adorable, I dunno what else to say. They’d be a nice pair together, just saying.

3. Cappy x… Mythra..? (Cappythra or something like that)

This… this is just a messed up ship I made by myself. I couldn’t fully remember why I made this, although I DID realize that I was going for a bit of a vibe similar to another ship on Tumblr. Nevertheless, this is just a joke ship, but if you wanna ship it, that’s fine. If you don’t think it’s funny or good, that’s fine too. But don’t go harass me just because I made this, okay?

When You Were Gone (A Mario x Cappy Fanfiction)

“Wow-wee!” Cappy exclaimed, “That parade sure was SOMETHING, huh, Mario?”

He then turned to see his friend’s head down, not being able to look at him.

“Mario..?” The little hat repeated a bit more quietly. He approached the plumber with a concerned look on his face.

“What… what’s wrong?” He asked.

For a while, Mario couldn’t speak and his Bonneter friend had to shake him a few times to get him to talk. Finally, he spoke, “I… I don’t-a know…”

“… wait what..?” The hat questioned softly, “What are you talking about..?”

“Well,” Mario answered, “I know I have-a been overreacting over you-a leaving, but… for a while, I… I didn’t-a know why. I thought it was-a more of a friend thing, just-a… different, but-a no. It doesn’t-a seem like it that-a way. While you were-a gone, I… I kept-a questioning why I reacted like-a that… but then I thought about a possible-a theory…”

He then looked up at his friend and asked, “Am I… am I catching-a feelings for you… Cappy?”

Cappy fell silent, then jolted back in shock, not believing what he’s hearing.

“WAH?!” He shouted, “You, in love with me?!?!”

Mario responded, “I-I-I don’t-a know actually… but… I’ll-a try to find out. Is… it okay..?”

Cappy was completely oblivious to what he was about to do, but seeing as how he just wanted to answer his own question, he nodded, albeit a bit cautiously and slowly. As he closed his eyes, Mario crept up towards him before blushing. ‘He looks-a so cute…’ he thought to himself, ‘so innocent… so… so…’

still in a trance, Mario tried to find where Cappy’s mouth was before kissing that spot right there.

Cappy immediately opened his eyes to see his friend kissing him on the lips. He felt a bit surprised, sort of scared even. But as he kept going, he eased into the kiss, making small sounds as he did so. The two’s lips held onto each other, both of them drifting deeper and deeper into ecstasy. As soon as Mario broke off the kiss, Cappy asked, “So… did you figure anything out..?”

Mario thought over it, wondering if he actually did. After the kiss, looking at his own friend now made him blush even more. He thought of him as a cute little hat who was also somehow soft and gentle, especially with his “lips”. It made him smile and he finally responded, “A-yes… I have.”
