Wanda made it a habit of coming into Pyro’s room after nightmares since the first time went okay, even sometimes when Pietro is there.

Pyro sleeps better when she stays with him.

it’s sunny. its hot. but remus doesn’t mind. he’s wearing shorts. ( remus never wears shorts ) but he’s here with HER. wanda is smiling, her hair pinned up. she looks amazing in this light. they’re both carrying bags filled with anything they thought important enough not to leave behind. he’s squinting through his sun glasses. people around them are going on about their business. the streets are filled with merchants and boys playing futbol only to stop when remus and wanda wish to pass through. laughter and music fills the air. this is a normal day in this village. 

there isn’t an old man. there aren’t spell-books. there isn’t the weight of being MERLIN. he breathes in the air and looks over at wanda. 

“ see that building over there next to the water ?? “ he asks with a grin. pointing he shows her where to look. “ that’s our new place. “
