Friend of mine proposed a question to me about today's #CapricornSolarEclipse #SolarEclipseInCapricorn and I found something interesting. So I looked up my natal chart and the current transits for the time of the eclipse and noticed how not only is this eclipse happening in my 5th house. The 5th House of your natal chart represents creative and artistic expression, fun, entertainment, recreational activities, gambling, romance (casual sex, flirting, playing the field as opposed to the spiritual sex and "soul union" found in the 8th house) , pleasure, emotional enrichment, and the inner child. In short, the 5th house is how express our personality and evolve through doing the activities that bring energy and happiness into our lives. So now the eclipse is happening there and eclipses are powerful energy gateways that can move things in or clear things out over the course of 6 months. Not to mention, there's also a conjunction with Jupiter (a powerful expansive energy) on the eclipse point near my natal Neptune (dreams, hopes, nightmares, higher self) as well as Saturn and Pluto conjunct my natal Vertex. Long story short, 2020 is looking like a powerful time for me for creative expression. As an intuitive astrologer, I know this is about writing my memoir/manifesto that I have been putting off and on because of my own personal issues and #trauma I don't feel comfortable speaking about publicly at this time. There are some things I need to write about that I haven't come to peace with internally yet and that is my challenge for 2020. And in order to go through this gateway, I have to do the work required. This is what I am here to do. I know my friend suddenly telling me to check my chart was the Universe's way of nudging me in the right direction. I think getting sick was also a "fasting" moment for me to be in this soul searching moment right now too. Lots of introspection and evaluating where a I am in my life and what I am doing! I feel like this last year and half has turned my world upside down and changed so much of me. What was once important is no longer, and what I didn’t consider that important is now extra special. I guess big life events like death will do that to you! Perhaps you feel the same? Every 19 years, the solar and lunar eclipses return to the same sign. #Eclipses are said to be major energetic gateways or opportunities for change, removal, and/or upheaval. If the cosmos were an ocean, eclipses would be a tsunami. Depending on what sign they occur in, and how they interact with our individual natal charts, will determine what areas of life the energetic tsunami will most likely hit hardest. This year, 2019, in January there was a #CapricornSolarEclipse and the #LeoLunarEclipse & then a #CancerSolarEclipse and #CapricornLunarEclipse in July and there will be another #solareclipse in Capricorn on December 25th. This eclipse pattern last occurred in the year 2000. There was a solar eclipse in Cancer/lunar eclipse in Capricorn. So now, when you meditate/pray on what you want to be cleared out or "eclipsed" out of your way in 2019/2020, think back to what was going on in your life back in 2000/2001. For me, some major life events in 2000. Age 13. I was graduating middle school & entering high school. My grandfather passing in fall 1999 and my cousin, who was like an older brother to me, passed in summer 2001. I remember feeling very much "on my own, all by myself" and having fears of dying unexpectedly. Had I known then what I known now, I probably wouldn't have made some dumb decisions. Now looking at the present. Age 32. I'm leaving graduate school (again) and taking a leap of faith in relocating for better career opportunities. My mother passed in late 2017 and my great grandmother passed in summer 2019. I kinda feel on my own & all by myself sometimes. Except now, I'm aware of all the loved ones across the veil around me so I dont feel as lonely, if that makes sense. I don't have fears of dying but more of a knowing that there's some things I must accomplish on this Earth while I'm alive. So the next Cancer/Capricorn eclipse pattern will happen in 2038, when I'm 51, same age as my mom when she transitioned.
